Hard work but worth the effort (you have not seen everything until you have seen Gorillas)

Bwindi Impenetrable forrest is not the easiest plave to get too but that is part of the adventure. Accomodation can be from very basic to 4 star if you want it to be.

Trecking to find gorillas is hard work (they are mountain Gorillas after all) but you are pretty much certain to find them and it is a very special time.
The Park guides are excellent trackers and you are looked after very well (if offered a porter then take one carrying all you stuff is harder then you imagine).
We went mid year and the weather was fine although the jungle is damp most of the time.
The scenery is stunning although travelling around is an adventure of its own wil only mud roads to use.
Some great bird watching opportunities with some really good guides.
Would I do it again Yes in a heartbeat, worth all the effort.

GORILLAS - that's explain everything. All your efforts are worth to make when you see huge silverback charging on you :)

Good accessibility and great organization of the staff there. The local people get involved as they can help as "porter's". It is very advised to use them if you are not used to hiking.

I visited Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to see the mountain gorillas. We trekked through dense jungle for over 2 hours and then met a silverback and his family. For me , it was an experience I will never ever forget...... I could not believe we were 20 yards from these beautiful, calm and amazing animals. The trackers, rangers and porters wanted you to get the best experience and helped us get the best views of these beautiful animals in their own environment.

Had a incredible experience with the Gorillas here. Saw many birds as well. Staying in our hotel overlooking the forest was very relaxing and beautiful.

Our trek was very tough as we were constantly climbing steep hills. Therefore, we weren't able to enjoy the tour. We also only saw very few gorillas in the group.
The Price of 800,- Dollar is much to high for that what you get.

This tour was a fantastic experience. You get to see the equator and the deepest lake in Uganda but most importantly, watch Gorillas. The gorilla trek was a wonderful and amazing experience but also reliable. The trek goes though some beautiful scenery to the rain first but it is also almost guaranteed you’ll see gorillas. This is because there are staff patrolling the rainforest who communicate with your tour guide to tell them where the gorillas are in the forest which is why it’s almost guranteex you’ll see gorillas. You can get quite close up to them in the rainforest and spend an hour admiring them so it is a fantastic experience. The accommodations also have beautiful scenery. So would highly recommend this tour.
