Most magical experience of a lifetime
When I first had communication with Benson, I was quite shocked at how fast his response and how professional he conducted his business. I had somewhat of an idea of what kind of places I would like to visit and stay while on our honeymoon, Benson put together an itinerary beyond my expectations with additional suggestions to make our trip that much better. We were blown away on how every little detail was perfect when we showed up in Tanzania. Our guide/friend Frank was the coolest most knowledgeably person. He traveled with us throughout Tanzania, which was great being that we had a familiar face day after day. I really felt like I was in the cool crew when we were with Frank, he knew everyone! Not only that, our jeep was more equipped than any other jeep! The picnic nap folded out when lunching, food more appetizing than the rest of the tourists around , variety of different beverages (including wine :-)) AND outlets to charge our cameras!! Our accommodation for all of the places, Tanzania and Zanzibar were breathtaking. Really all the staff made us feel very welcomed and safe. Again, every detail was on point! Thank you Benson for this trip of a lifetime, I will never forget you, Frack and Tanzania!! A++++++++++

Awesome experience
We did a 8-day safari in September 2016 with Benson safaris. Our trip included 1 day at Lake Manyara, 1,5 days in Tarangire NP, 1,5 days at Lake Natron, 3 days in Serengeti NP and 1 day in the Ngorongoro crater.
We had an awesome time with our guide Issa and our chef Waziri.
Issa is a great guide and able to spot animals at any distance. Thanks to him we saw the Big Five and also a cheetah after a hard days work of finding one. He stopped our car for photographs whenever we wanted and so we could spend time to enjoy the animals close-by. Issa has an amazing knowledge about animals and the Tanzanian landscape as well as the culture. He was able to answer all of our questions in a very competent way. Waziri was our chef for the time. It is amazing how he was able to prepare great meals in the given conditions. We were always looking forward to open our lunch box at noon. We also loved the fresh scones and daily soups he prepared on our trip.
The planning of the trip with Benson was very good as well. Benson was quick to answer our emails and helped us to prepare a great itinerary without pushing us to do things we don't want to do. From beginning to end we had a very good feeling with Benson and always felt safe during our time. The car we had was well equipped and accompanied us through Tanzania safely.
Overall we had an awesome experience with Benson safaris. If we ever do another safari in Tanzania, we will definitely take Benson Safari and ask Issa to be our guide and Waziri to be our chef again.

Once in a lifetime experience
Me and my mother went on a 3 day safari with Benson, its was amazing we saw a lot of wildlife and our guide was more like a friend then a guide. He new everything you would ask him and more, I have plans for a new safari one day and i will definitely travel with Benson agian. If you have plan a Safari you wil not regret it!

Thank you Benson! I booked when I arrived in Tanzania so I cannot comment on the 'communications' pre-trip. However, during the Safari, the communications between our small group and the driver were excellent. Ringo was calm, really funny, organized, patient, knowledgeable and lots of FUN! The service was (mostly) always excellent! Every day was a 8 or 9/10 on the 'perfect' scale ! Safari tour was beyond ordinary, everyday words. Surreal feelings every minute of the Safari....it was so amazing to think I was living one of my dreams, to be out living with those gorgeous animals and wildlife! Go with Benson Safaris to live out your Safari dream. You won't be disappointed ~ you will return home to want much more! James (Ringo) you were incredible. Thank you for an unforgettable time!

All-Around Impressive and Lovely
We had such an amazing 8-day safari with Benson Safaris. I researched and contacted many operators and knew right away that Benson put a great deal of care and attention to detail to make it a special experience; I'm so happy we went with his company. Every aspect of our trip was top-notch; the safari vehicle was one of the nicest we saw at the parks (very comfortable and clean), the tented lodges were luxurious, and our guide (Max) was tremendous. We had so many incredible moments viewing wildlife and Max knew everything there is to know about anything we asked. We're happy we saw Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Parks (which are just stunning) in addition to Ngorongoro and Serengeti. We also loved the beautiful Lake Natron, but it was very warm in October and a long, bumpy journey. We loved meeting Benson both before and after our trip; he is passionate about making your trip to Tanzania once-in-a-lifetime and you will feel very well looked after on his tours. very professional team and Daphne is very helpful and thoughtful, always respond fast
We spent 3 happy safari days in Serengeti, very professional team. Daphne is the sales, she is very helpful and thoughtful, always respond fast even on weekends. The driver Charles is very experienced guide, he can spot lions on trees from hundreds meters away with his eagle eyes. And he can also detect animals simply by his nose which is amazing to us. During the safari, we saw a pride of over 20 lions, which is extremely rare and we saw a lepoard and a lion are lying on the same tree...
Overall I'm glad I chose Benson safaris especially with the help from Daphne, if the car was equipped with good AC that would be even better.

Great safari experience with Benson!
We did a 6 day safari tour with Benson and it was great. Communication was effective, Benson is a really nice guy.
Our guide, Simba, was also very professional and has a lot of years of experience.
We saw the big 5 and many other animals.
The experience in the lodges was also nice, some better than others though.
Good value for money.
Would recommend!

Incredible experience!
We had the most incredible safari in Tanzania with Benson Safaris, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
From the very beginning, they tailored the entire trip exactly to what we wanted. They were always available to answer our questions before and during the trip, constantly checking in and making sure everything was perfect. That level of care and attention made us feel completely at ease.
Exploring the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, we saw more animals than we could have ever imagined, lions, elephants, giraffes, and so much more. Our guide, Liberatus, was truly fantastic, so knowledgeable, and passionate. He made every game drive exciting and shared incredible insights about the wildlife and surroundings.
We especially loved that Benson is locally owned. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip, and we can’t recommend them highly enough.

Great Experience!
We went on a week-long safari with Bensons in February and are extremely satisfied! The safari exceeded all our expectations. We saw all the major animal species found there and learned a lot about the animals, nature, and their protection in the national parks. A big thank you goes to Simba, our excellent guide! He knew an incredible amount and answered all our many questions patiently and with a wealth of background knowledge and experience.
The lodges were also great without exception, surrounded by nature, all with Wi-Fi, hot water, mosquito nets in mosquito areas, and comfortable beds. The staff was very attentive and there were usually varied buffets.
Our tour included the Tarangire, Ndutu, and Serengeti National Parks, as well as the Ngorongoro Crater. We highly recommend it all. Bensons put together a great itinerary for us and made all our wishes come true. Thank you very much, we will definitely be back!

Me and my friend had an outstanding experience with Bensons Safaris.
From the first contact to the last day, everything was handled professionally. We chose the all inclusive package, and it delivered exactly what was promised. No surprises. No stress. Just a well organized safari where we could focus on the experience.
Our driver, Liberatus, was exceptional, hats off to him. Calm, knowledgeable, and fully in control. He managed expectations well and made sure every day ran smoothly. You could feel his experience. He know when to wait, when to move, sometimes VERY fast but safe, and how to position the vehicle for the best views. That matters.
The stay in Karatu at Eileens Lodge was a five star moment. Service minded staff. Smiling faces. Clean rooms and GREAT food. After a long day out, it was the perfect landing place to recharge.
