Great experience, great people
We just arrived from the three days tour. Tired, confused but enthusiastic. Simon Ngowa was the complete man for us, a great guy. Super driver, biologyst, kind interface, a multiple cultural guide, who take care of us in every moment. The Oakland Tours and Safari provide us a reliable car, and we can override the rough roads.
Thank you for all you did for us! Recomand all.

Very reliable and trustworthy tour operator!
Booked with Oakland on my first day in Kenia. A bit awkward: can I trust these people my large amount of money for a 9 days safari?? They have proved: yes, you can 100% trust them! Everything was like we agreed, had a great driver, who was also perfectly on time when picking me up the first day. Knew where to find the game. Fellistas of Oakland also regularly checked with me if everthing went fine. I couldn't have had a better safari. A 10 out of 10 for Oakland and driver Willy!

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging.
I really enjoyed this tour. The operator was very communicative during the entire booking process up until the tour. She even met us at the hotel to collect payment which was very reasonable for level of service and vehicle provided for the tour and personally introduced us to our tour guide . The tour guide knew the lay of the land and where to find the animals. He gave detailed explanation on the animals. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience touring the manor sites in Nairobi.

Of the 10 tour operators consulted, Oakland Tours was able to convince me that with them I could organize the safari of my dreams and that of my family. It took me 2 months of discussion with the organizers to develop this project.
I wanted to be close to nature in the Masai Mara. What Oakland offered us was just perfect, at the MAJI MOTO ECOCAMP. Welcome with great attention, visit of the camp, on the course of the showers, WC sinks scattered in nature, simple but very functional. The tents fitted out and the bedding very clean. . Finally nature, 4 km walk to visit a Masai family, in the evening Masai dances in front of a wood fire. (Forget the smartphones!!!) Exceptional safari in the "big five" park with our driver guide Boni Boni , big thank you. very nice person . . Amboseli, different safari, but just as good with the view of Kilimanjaro. The animals here are more grouped together, Elephants, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, hippos, warthogs, ostriches etc.... The lodge style tents are a little more equipped .The West Tsavo, Here magnificent landscapes. Giraffes, Elephants, rhinos, dic dic, antelopes etc ..... and here a lodge with a view of the water reservoirs where the animals come to quench their thirst .. This safari has been programmed in collaboration with Oakland, which listened to my wishes. Nothing is impossible for Oakland. And always there. Cheer.

From when we were picked up to when we we dropped off after our 5 day Safari , where we saw the Big 5 and so so much more , we were treated like royalty . The hotels Oakland chose for us were superb , our driver and guide Boniface became a good friend and went over and beyond to make sure we didn’t miss anything . Cannot fault them in any way whatsoever. And would highly recommend Oakland Tours to anyone looking for a Safari holiday.

Professional and Affordable
I went up Mount Kenya with Oakland and they were very helpful throughout the process from beginning to end. The guide (Charles) was also very good in his attention to detail and provide a lot of background information and practical advice while on the trek. He set a perfect pace and allowed us to really enjoy our entire hike throughout. The entire trip as a resident of Kenya was very affordable and I would recommend
