Great Safari Experience
We had an incredible safari experience with Lion King Adventures. Their office staff was very helpful, informative, and they communicate very well. They give you a pdf with all the information of your trip with pictures included which was very nice. Our pick ups to and from the airport were on time and hassle free. They also helped us arrange our stay and transportation in Zanzibar where we stayed after our Safari. Our guide on Safari, Shafino, is extremely smart and has many years of experience as a guide. We learned so much from him and he worked extremely hard! We were lucky enough to see all of the big 9 thanks to his knowledge of the parks and his relationships with the other guides. Tanzania is so special and extremely beautiful and you will not regret your decision to visit and see the beauty this country has to offer. Thank you Lion King Adventures!

Amazing honeymoon experience!
We had an incredible experience with Lion King Adventures! We booked with them for our honeymoon and are very happy with our choice. They were incredibly informative and responsive with any request regarding packing, expectations, etc. Our guide, Shafino, was the best of the best. His knowledge of the animals, the ecosystem, and the culture can’t be beat. We got the full safari experience and couldn’t be more grateful for this once in a lifetime experience!

Vacation of a Lifetime
It has been almost 2 weeks since we returned from our safari, and my husband and I talk and reminisce everyday about our journey. Day 1 began with Simon meeting us at the airport and driving us to our first hotel. Out in all her glory was Mount Kilimanjaro. We came to find out the next day, from our guide Khalifa, that Mt. Kilimanjaro is known as the "shy lady" because she is usually hiding behind clouds and not visible. But on our first day we got to see this wonder and that set the tone for the rest of our safari. The next day we met our guide, Khalifa Shabani. We spent the next 5 days with Khalifa. Khalifa was just one of a kind! He was incredibly knowledgeable of all the animals, wildlife and vegetation we saw and that we asked about. Khalifa prepped the Land Cruiser for each day of our journey; it was clean and fully stocked with beverages. Khalifa was super patient with all my questions and was very helpful in helping me when I mentioned that I wanted to take a carving of and elephant (my favorite animal) home. He knew exactly where to take us and helped us out with pricing. We could not have asked for a better guide! Now Lion King Adventures makes this journey a total "no brainer." That is, once you receive your schedule everything runs smoothly and like clockwork. Everything from airport/lodging transfers, meals, excursions and additional activities (we opted for a hot air balloon experience over the Serengeti) that interest you. The hotels, lodges and tented camps arranged through Lion King Adventures were beautiful and luxurious. The food at each of these locations was outstanding and all the staff was accommodating and helpful. And lunch during our safari outings, was of restaurant quality! Our accommodations at Zanzibar were just as beautiful and was the perfect place for R&R after our safari. We cannot say enough about our experience with Lion King Adventures and about our guide Khalifa. Everything about our 11-day safari and beach (Zanzibar) vacation was memorable, unique, perfect and an experience that will live with us forever. Thank you, Lion King, thank you Khalifa, we hope to one day be back!

We had a fantastic holiday and appreciate all your efforts in making our trip so memorable.
Our safari guide Goody was such a lovely man and a super guide, he had fantastic knowledge of all the wildlife and was extremely respectful of the animals' welfare. Six days in the jeep were six incredibly special days, we saw all the animals we could hope to see, and Goody went above and beyond to ensure we had a super memorable holiday.
Naurey took care of all the bookings behind the scenes, every hotel we wanted and the room type we requested was delivered, all transfers were arranged and on time.
We were initially unsure about booking a tour directly with a company in Tanzania, rather than booking through a UK operator, but it was definitely the right choice and we would have no hesitation in recommending Lion King Adventures for a perfect safari - thank you very much.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful
I cannot fault Lion King Adventures on anything. They were great. Nickson who gave us the quote, Rose who dealt with any pre trip questions and Murshid our guide for the safari. He was so friendly, great at spotting the animals and a very careful driver. I really enjoyed our picnics, they were special. Thank you for the wine too. Very nice. We didn't see leopards, seemingly they are very difficult to spot but we saw everything else and more. My favourite day was when we visited Ngorogoro Caldera. I loved it so much. What a fantastic experience.

The safari was absolutely wonderful!
The safari was absolutely wonderful! Thanks to Abu we saw the Big 5 not once but twice. And also many other animals like cheetas, giraffes and the big migration of wildebeest (and zebras). He put a lot of effort in our trip to make it the best time possible and knows a lot about the animals and nature. Also the lodges arranged by the company were amazing. For us it felt like a luxury safari instead of midrange. I can highly recommend this company.

I will remember it forever
The impeccable service and our guide, Suleiman, whose deep knowledge of the local flora and fauna was truly remarkable, made our experience something magical that we will remember forever. In just five days, we had become rafiki (friends), and leaving filled us with a sense of nostalgia.

Best of best tour!!!
I am a Korean who did the Serengeti & Ngorongoro tour at Lion King Adventure. I was uneasy until the start of my trip, because I read that a lot of people were unsatisfied with the Serengeti tour. But when you meet guide James at Lion King Adventure, it is the best tour you will never forget !! Most Koreans focused on watching the Big Five, and during the season I went there, I could easily see the big five with lots of animals. The guides allowed us to see real animals in front of our noses. I was able to see the lion and leopard eating in front of me. Both the guide and the chef were friendly and fun, so we had a great time throughout the tour. Even if you make a mistake in English, you do not have to worry! I rarely write a review, but I was so happy to write about Lion King Adventure. If Jonghyuk Lee (Mark) recommends James to Korean, he will surely do well! I hope you have a pleasant trip. Thank you :)
