Very helpful, very pleasant contact, good advice
I had a few aes in my mind to visit. I spoke with Tanja and discussed with her by email. She had good ideas, listened to my wishes and arranged a unforgettable journey through SA.

I recommend 100% African Savanna Travel!!!!
This year we traveled again with African Savanna Travel for the second time in a row, and I'm sure it will not be the last.
This is probably the best tour operator to travel to Southern Africa. You can feel that Tanja is very professional from the first email that you exchange with her, and then, as you talk with her, you can see that she is also very kind and friendly.
Communication with her is simply perfect. She goes out of her way to please all requests, and also has very good advice to give because her knowledge of the area is excellent.
In this year's holidays, we traveled to Namibia and Kgalagadi for 20 days, by self drive and combining campsite and lodge. All the accommodations chosen by Tanja, the rental car company, and the activities, have been unbeatable. During the trip we had contact with Tanja through whatsapp, she always worries that everything goes well. Even if there is a problem (this is Africa so surely always happens something) Tanja manages to solve everything at the moment. I just trust her and I travel calmly knowing that she is there.

What a great experience we had with Tanja / AST.
From the very first contact, she put together a tailor-made travel plan built on our wishes and dreams. She had plenty of very helpful suggestions and/or alternatives if a specific item was not possible. This ultimately resulted in a travel plan that we felt 100% happy with. We were more than impressed with the digital itinerary that we subsequently received - complete and impressive. During our trip she kept in touch by whatsapp to make sure everything was all right. Loved it !
Still full of all the impressions, we now look back on an unforgettable first time (safari) trip that truly fulfilled 100% (and more) what we had hoped for in advance. Another fabulous trip organized by Tanja!
Once again we have returned from a fabulous self-drive trip to Kruger National Park, Timbavati and Sabi Sands Game Reserves.
Tanja is amazing to work with due to her professionalism, response time and exceptional knowledge of the area.
Again she used her local expertise to plan an unforgettable trip which had amazing wildlife sightings and lodges.

A lot of knowledge with a very warm personality! 5 Stars!
I have been looking forward to a trip through SA with my 4 children for a long time. Tanja has converted all my wishes into a beautiful program. It had to be a holiday where my teenagers would not miss the WiFi... Nature, animals, coast, city, and also activities. We traveled from Johannesburg via Lowveld, Sabi Sand, Hazyview. Mlilwane, St Lucia Umdloti to Cape Town.
We enjoyed it so much and Tanja was also accessible and very helpful along the way.
It was a once in your lifetime trip, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Tanja, thank you so much!

The best trip we ever did, with the best possible support from Tanja and her team
We already had our ideas where in Botswana we wanted to go on our self-drive safari. Tanja supported us in order to optimize our route and planed and organised everything to perfection. In this way, we had no worries and could enjoy the wonderful nature and people of Botswana.
Our trip started in Kasane, had a daytrip to Victoria Falls, with various stops at Chobe, Linyanti, Savuti, Moremi, Kalahari and Pilandsberg.
Even for our last minute changes in Johannesburg she could arrange a perfect short tour through Soweto. Thank you again and we hope to come back soon.
