Excellent service, provided driver and guide for 8 trips over 2 weeks around Nairobi and Naivasha
I had a group of 7 friends from Europe visiting Kenya for 2 two weeks. We spent one week in Naivasha and one week in Nairobi, doing a range of trips:
- Naivasha: Hells Gate, Elementeita Lake, Elsamere, Crater Lake
- Nairobi: Njgong Hills, Karen Blixen, Two rivers, Giraffe Centre, Carnivore + night out, drop off at airport.
African Skimmer Safaris provided great transport with appropriate bus or Landcruiser, comfortable, with competent, cheerful and careful drivers, good guide for the Nairobi park. Always on time, always in a great mood. Flexible also, could change the program with a day notice. Bus clean and comfortable, and just right for the group, so divided over the group we got a very good value for money.

Trip of a Lifetime
We found Nick to be the ultimate tour guide. He was kind, considerate, and very helpful. His knowledge of Africa, the wildlife, and terrain was amazing. It was like taking a college course in African studies. We would have missed so much if it weren't for Nick and his expertise in pointing out things we could have easily overlooked. This trip far surpassed our expectations and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for adventure (in a protected environment).

I met Nicholas Kiritu on my tour and he helped me finding the names of birds.
I can recommend African Skinner Safaris because of Nicholas Kiritu. He is emphatic person and he knows a lot of interesting things to tell about the wildlife. He studies nature since his childhood and loves to share his knowledge with everyone.

It was an awesome experience!
We had been planning to go for this trip for a while and this tour company was of great help. They listened to us and gave us exactly what we had wanted. Being from Kenya, they gave us an experience we will never forget. Nick picked us up on time at the designated pick up point and kept us abreast with the itinerary of the day. The vehicle was always clean with enough drinking water fro the game drives. Nick is definitely a guide i will use on other trips. Hopefully very soon!!!

Fantastic communication from start to finish.
Did a 3 day Safari in the Masai Mara with African Skimmer - communication was top notch. Email right through out with Nick being available over Whatsapp to sort final details out on our arrival in Nairobi. Our driver Danson was fantastic throughout - you can see he has a real passion for nature and wildlife. He was great thoughout the 3 days. We stayed in Zebra Plains booked as part of the Safari - love the accomodation.
Overall would highly recommend African Skimmer to anyone heading to Kenya.
