Professional and experienced group, treated us like family.
Just left Tanzania, first time in Africa, first time Safari. My girlfriend (30) and I (33) had the most amazing time with Suricata Safari. Our guide was Damian and chef was Salim, I highly recommend them. Damian was super cool and knowledgeable, he was highly experienced in navigating the parks, and seemed to have the upper hand on the other Safari Cruisers. You do need a bit of luck in the parks but with Damian it seemed like we were always getting lucky. We saw lions at 4 different occasions at our first day in the Serengeti, along with the rare Seval cat. The 2nd day we were not only able to track down a cheetah but the cheetah was with 3 - 2 week old cubs, the moment was priceless and we were lucky to have Damian to make it happen.
If you want the ultimate camping safari experience, I highly recommend Suricata Safari. Camping isn’t for everyone but my girlfriend and I are used to, and enjoy the ‘man verse wild’ atmosphere. It is a typical tent, they are waterproof! You get the essentials for sleeping. . Pillow, bed mat, sleeping bag. There are nice bathrooms with showers at each camp ground (bring a towel or 2), along with a cooking area and dining area for the 3 meals received everyday.
The food was delicious, our chef Salim cooked a feast for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day for the group of 6. There was no shortage of food and they were very tasty, well balanced meals. Alcohol was available to purchase at each campground if you’re interested in a beverage during sunset or with dinner.
We did 2 days in the Serengeti, 1 day at Ngorongoro Crater, and 1 day at Tarangire Park. They were all beautiful and unique in their own ways. We grouped with 2 other young couples and we all had an amazing time.
We both absolutely want to relive this vacation in the future and will most definitely be using Suricata Safari again. Also I would not want to revisit without Damian and Salim guiding and cooking for us again.
It would be so cool to find a few friends to join us next time, to make our own group of 5 or 6 and spend a few nights in the Serengeti. We saw so much in 2 days (1 night) in the Serengeti but it is such a huge national park, it is impossible to explore the entire park in such little time.

The trip of a lifetime!!!
We had the most incredible time with Suricata safaris!! We did the 4 day budget camping package and it was amazing. Pickup from the airport was smooth and on time. Our accommodation at the hotel the first night was clean and tidy and staff was very friendly. For the safari, our tour guide Damian and our chef Saleem were so awesome!! Damian was extremely knowledgeable and kind, and answered all of our questions. He got word over the radio about a cheetah about 30 mins away and he knew exactly how to get us there, which is impressive because the serengeti is massive! We arrived just in time to see a cheetah and her two week old cubs which was so special and my personal highlight of the trip. We also saw many lions, elephants, a rare serval cat, monkeys, endangered black rhinos, and so so much more. Saleem our chef was very sweet and spoiled us with the most delicious meals every day as well, we kept joking that we were going to take him home with us when we left. We visited the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, and tarangire national parks. I was blown away by how stunning and unique each place was, they all have so much to offer. I've been wanting to visit tanzania since I was a young child and this trip exceeded all of my expectations!! We already can't wait to come back, and we'll be requesting Damian and Saleem when we do because they are a dream team! Thank you Suricata safaris for the trip of a lifetime!

Only for people who want a proper, fantastic and safe Safari Experience
The experience with Suricata for our safari was a success from hello. Everything was arranged by whatsapp and emails without any delay or problem. We were received in the airport, taken to a very nice hotel (organized by them) and another person came to brief us on our trip details.
It was at that time we realized that it would be cold at this time of the year, and that we needed coats. The company organized it and within two hours an old lady arrived with coats that we purchased cheaply – and saved our life
Next day we were picked up by our guide and driver, Freddy, who was an incredible host and guide. He has vast knowledge of his field, knew the paths, the spots, explained everything in detail – especially to our 9 and 12 year old sons. He was very communicative, professional and polite. We got a LOT of information, not only about the animals, but also about the Masai tribes, life in Tanzania, conservation etc. It was a real pleasure to have him show us around.
The camps we stayed in, were simply magical and out of this world.
The company performed 100%. In addition to this, for the half day we had to spend after the safari in Arusha, they organized a half day city tour and we saw a lot of interesting things in Arusha.
In total, Suricata is a very professional company that delivers what promised with quality and style and I would recommend them without any reservation.

Had a fantastic time! Our guides - Elias and Malita - were phenomenal. They were highly knowledgeable in animals and terrain, and somehow managed to locate all the animals we were hoping to find! We were fed incredibly well by Chef Tito, who cooked some of the best food I’ve had in Africa. Thank you Suricata Safari!
Amazing, helpful and kind.
Suricata was amazing! Super friendly, accommodating and kind. It started with a warm welcome at their Arusha facility with the front desk staff. Twalbu who was extremely friendly and generous gave us a pre trip briefing and answered all of our questions. We then set out to meet our driver and guide Edgar in the 4x4 Toyota 6 seater Land Cruiser. These are the primary vehicles for the tour. Edgar was a great friendly guide who has a lot of experience. Edgar knew the Serengeti very well and I couldn’t believe how much we got to see. It is migration time in February so the animals are active and everywhere. I picked the midrange trip and stayed in two really nice spots. Both were nice and clean, with again, extremely friendly gracious staff. Plenty to eat and drink and you’re right in the middle of the Serengeti. I highly recommend Suricata for your Safari, it was an amazing experience!

Experience for life!!!
I wouldn’t change a single thing about this amazing safari. Starting with the warm welcome at our arrival in Arusha by Mr. T, he gave us all the information we needed, very precise and with patience. Then we met Fredy, our guide, a beautiful person. He was an excellent driver, he knew exactly where to go and what we needed at all times through the parks but also how to find us and how to contact us no matter where we were, solve any doubts or issues along the way. He was very respectful and calm, he transmitted us safety at all times, and his knowledge about wildlife, about all species and their behavior, was absolutely outstanding. Beside him in the 4x4 we had our super chef Pius, verything he cooked was yummy! Always local dishes, proper hot meals and not boxes like other safari companies. The Lodges and Camping Sites were absolute fabulous, in memorable emplacements, and the employees always made us feel like we were at home. Finally we met Daniel at our hotel in Arusha, for the debrief, he received us with his Tanzanian smile, and still with tears in my eyes, we thanked them all for this amazing and unforgettable experience!!

Our recent safari with Suricata Safaris was nothing short of extraordinary! From start to finish, everything was impeccably organized, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable experience.
A huge thank you to our guide Elias and chef James, whose expertise and dedication made the journey truly special. Elias’s deep knowledge of the terrain and incredible understanding of the animals allowed us to experience breathtaking wildlife encounters, while James’s delicious meals provided a comforting touch of home after each day of adventure.
The attention to detail was remarkable. From the perfect placement of tents to face the sunrise and sunset, to the punctual and stress-free airport and hotel pickups, everything was thoughtfully planned. Communication with the team was flawless – every step of the process was clearly explained, giving us a sense of security and allowing us to fully enjoy the trip.

Excellent Suricata Safari
We had an incredible safari experience with Suricata Safari! The trip was exceptionally well-organized, with excellent customer care, a punctual schedule, and a genuinely caring team. From the moment we were picked up at the airport, everything ran smoothly. They transferred us to our hotel and then to the safari starting point, where our unforgettable journey began.
Our safari included two nights and one day exploring the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, ensuring a seamless experience. Initially, we were supposed to be dropped off at the airport after the safari, but our flight was delayed. The team went above and beyond, checking in with us and confirming our new flight time. They even arranged a hotel where we could rest, shower, and eat before heading back to the airport.
We chose the cheapest package, however Suricata Safari exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s worth noting that the company offers various levels of experience to suit different preferences and budgets. We couldn’t be happier with our trip and highly recommend this Suricata Safari to anyone considering a safari adventure. Beyond satisfied!
I have to say Mbwana the guide is very professional and very knowledgeable. We saw lots of animals because of him. The Chef Innocent made us excellent food during our trip. Kelvin the driver was great. Thank you to Dennis and Tuleep for organizing such amazing safari for us. Well done great team.

An amazing safari experience organised by a great team
We went on a 5 day safari with Suricata starting in Arusha. Before we started the safari they picked us up from Arusha airport and brought us to our hotel where we were given a briefing by Dennis that explained everything we needed to know for the next days. As we had some time to kill in Arusha they also organised a small tour of the city for us with a great guide called Chuke.
The next day we started our safari for five days. The first day was spent with Rocky as our guide, the next four with Elias. Both were warm, informative and great to have as guides. The lodges we stayed in were beautiful, and the food was delicious, as were the lunches had on safari cooked by our chef from Suricata, Pius. We ended our safari with a debrief with Daniel in Arusha who also arranged a complimentary transfer to our next hotel. Overall nothing was lacking in the adventure. The communication was excellent and we felt fully cared for the entire time. I would really highly recommend this company to anyone looking at doing a safari in Tanzania.

100% recommend the 3-day safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro
The 3-day safari tour in Serengeti and Ngorongoro was amazing! Our local guide Max was very nice and professional, with great knowledge of the animals and how to find them (we saw the Big five!). We had two long game drives in Serengeti and one in the crater, which was beautiful and enough to enjoy all the wildlife. Suricata Safari took care of the accomodation (campsite) and all the meals (the chef Tito cooked the best local food we tried during our stay in Tanzania). We 100% recommend
