Amazing Africa
Wayfairer Travel would be one of the best we have booked with.
From the very beginning after discussing with Colin what we wanted and our budget, it didn't take long for him to come back with what i would say was an Amazing trip / itinerary.
After paying our deposit we were assigned a concierge member (Toon ) who was equally amazing and very helpful.
We arrived in Capetown from a Cruise ( booked independently ) and were met by our transport and were taken to our Boutique Hotel.
We loved the fact that Colin arranged for our stay to be in smaller Boutique Hotels. The staff at everyone we stayed at were amazing.
I could keep going on for ever as the trip was fantastic. All our day trips were on time and the drivers were knowledgeable and personal.
Our internal connections and pick up were all on time.
Overall, we had a brilliant holiday helped by the Knowledge and assistance of Colin and Toon.
i would highly recommend Wayfairer Travel to anyone .

I highly recommend Wayfairer. If you want to go on an African safari and have a flawless experience, choose them. They were attentive, flexible, knowledgeable, and made our family vacation memorable.
They obsess the details
The advisor listened to our details needs. He helped refined our plans and ensure we had the best experience we could. All this tailored to our needs. There were never any judgments about what we wanted or should do and he guided us. We thought about doing the whole organisation by ourself. It would have been impossible and costly.
The Concierge was also exceptional, ensuring we did not have to think about anything, and yet had all our bases covered

Amazing Experience
We can highly recommend Wayfairer Travel. Starting with the first video call with Ettienne in South Africa regarding our planned Safari, Ettienne quickly understood our needs and wishes and put together an amazing itinerary in two different areas of the greater Kruger region, so that we were able to experience varied landscapes and wildlife populations. Ettienne and our support person from the local concierge team, Dalia, were always available and responsive to answer questions and support us before and during our trip. Both lodges - and especially Little Garonga in the Makalali Reserve - were fantastic, and all the transfers went very smoothly. It was a fantastic, once in a lifetime experience and we felt very well cared for throughout the trip.

Amazing Operator Delivering Amazing Experiences!!
I wanted to pass on feedback from our first tour with Wayfairer Travel thus far.
First off, they did an amazing job as a team to make everything seamless. We had the multiple transfers (7 via car and three flights). All were well coordinated and timely, with comfortable vehicles and really nice drivers. Ilios and African Safari adventures were great. All flights with Airlink were on-time and very comfortable. Far superior to flying coach in the U.S. Hats off to Chanel for getting our seats changed on the balance of flights.
Honeyguide Montobeni was an eye opener and amazing. We call it "Glamping" in the states, and we enjoyed it so much. Chilly mornings and nights with beautiful days. The staff was great, the food wonderful and plentiful and the drives were amazing. Our guide Jordon was really good-wonderful spirit with incredible experience and so kind.
Elephant Plains is a very pleasant place to stay, but we had some hiccups initially, which they promptly addressed. Our Tour Guide (Nick) was not as great as Jordan, which we thought was a function of being a bit immature.
That said, we really enjoyed our stay.
Our trip to Victoria Falls was amazing and well-coordinated. We stayed at Batonka Guest Lodge, which was beautiful, very well run and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed a lovely dinner cruise and met some fun friends. It was a great way to experience VF.
Overall, we so appreciated everything the Wayfairer team did to make this a flawless journey. This was a bucket list trip, so much so that we're trying to talk our son (married next year) to book the same as their honeymoon. It will certainly be with Wayfairer.

Trip of a lifetime!
I've wanted to see Namibia ever since a friend of mine told be about Etosha. I asked Wayfairer to put together an itinerary that took me to all the "must see" parts of the country and they delivered. It far exceeded my expectations in terms of the variety of landscapes, the diversity of wildlife and the quality of the lodgings. Everything was top notch and executed to perfection. The lodgings were fantastic, all with great amenities and great food. And the guides provided for game drives were all top rate. I will was beyond satisfied and have already started working with Wayfairer on my next safari.

An organization that prioritizes customer service.
The trip planned by Wayfarer Travel was more than as advertised. I was traveling by myself but except in secure areas, like passport control at airports, I was never left alone. I always felt safe even when glitches out of the control of the tour operator, occurred.

Tanzania Safari and Mafia Island
I spoke to a few different agents, but Tom @ Wayfairer seemed the most knowledgeable and understood what it was we were looking for. The safari in Tanzania did not disappoint, and we felt properly immersed in the wildlife, and managed to get very close. The break of Mafia Island was very relaxing after, however, there isnt a lot to do outside the lodge in Mafia, its very under developed, but at the same time, the sea air, and the relaxed vibe to the place means that you're never really up for partying anyhow. The staff were excellent everywhere we went. In a nutshell, Tom delivered on everything that we asked for. We wanted an outdoor safair experience and got that, we wanted relaxation and luxury and got that too. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend these guys!

Loved Every Minute!
Many people in my family have done safaris, so I thought I knew what to expect. The Saruni experience knocked my socks off. One of my colleagues confessed he had "hoped to see A lion." Well, Masai Mara was lion central. Lions were everywhere. They completely ignored us, even though we were close enough to be able to take plenty of pictures without zooming. One night it rained - it was such an experience to see two lionesses and their 6 teenagers stoically crouched in the downpour, totally splattered with mud. The next day we saw a lioness dragging what was left of a kill into the brush...after a male lion, another lioness and 6 cubs got through with it. They were all there, licking their whiskers. Kittens gnawing on the ribs. No more zoos for me!
Every person on the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. I will be recommending Wayfairer/Saruni to anybody who is interested in doing a safari.
