Awesome safari experience
We did a safari after climbing Kilimanjaro and our experience with Lappet Faced Safaris was just outstanding in every way. The Melia lodge we stayed in were wonderful and in beautiful/unique settings. Our guide, Gabriel was terrific and had amazing vision to spot animals very far away. . . then expertly positioned our vehicle to see them up close!

Best safari ever! We just loved it!
As students with low budget we were not sure if we should really invest the money - retrospectively it was the best decision we could have made! We were warmly welcomed at the airport und felt so safe an well looked-after all the time we were extremely sad when we had to leave. All in all, there is not a single thing to criticize, everthing went smoothly and our expectations were exceeded. The food was fantastic (and a lot), and our guide tried really hard to show us the big five (which he managed thanks to his experience in finding the best spots and his sharp eyes). We learned so much, not only about the animals but also about the country and culture. Our guide was very competent, fluent in german and very nice- we will definetely try to come back!

Amazing moments with Francisco, the better guide ever ! A local men who know perfectly the place.
Thank’s to him we spend very goods moments, all of the accommodations was very nice and the owners very kindly.
We arrived in Arusha for our first night, we had two nights in Ngorongoro then we spend 2 days in a je Serengeti National Parc to finish with the creta.
Francisco understood what we are looking for and he do the job very perfectly. Like a lion king

I had the best experience with Francisco who helped us book the safari a couple of months earlier. He explained everything clearly, and he was also very accommodating, always keeping in close contact. The quality of the safari was great, the driver was extremely punctual, and the food was absolutely incredible. Honestly, even better than some of the restaurants that we went to when staying in Tanzania. I would thoroughly recommend this safari and this company. Thank you.

We had an absolutely amazing trip to Tanzania, and choosing Lappet Faced Safaris was the best decision we made! Everything was perfectly organized, and they went above and beyond to make our journey unforgettable.
Our guide, Joseph, was incredible—super friendly, extremely knowledgeable about wildlife, culture, and history, and always making sure we had the best experience. He could spot animals from miles away, shared fascinating stories, and even prepared a Chinese book on local animals to help us understand better. He also knew so many local guides, hotel staff, and restaurant waiters, which made us feel safe and well taken care of throughout the trip. Plus, his driving skills were excellent—I usually get carsick, but never once felt uncomfortable with him behind the wheel!
One of the best things about Lappet Faced Safaris was their fair pricing and flexibility. They only required a small deposit, and we paid the rest in cash upon arrival. The trip was all-inclusive, and we only had to cover souvenirs and tips. They found us amazing hotels at great prices, always looking for ways to save money for us. Due to our uncertainty, we changed our itinerary more than four times, and they were always patient and accommodating.
Thanks to Joseph and Lappet Faced Safaris, this was more than just a vacation—it was an adventure of a lifetime. If you're planning a trip to Tanzania, this is the company to go with. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to travel with them again!
