It is just perfect.
First of all, we are very satisfied with the trip arranged by the Lapped faced Safaris. During the seven-day trip, we saw the five African tyrants. The rhinoceros, which is the most difficult to see in the love of life, is also seen by us. During the trip, our guide David was very experienced. Even though the road was so muddy on a rainy day, our car did not get stuck in the mud like other teams, which gave us more time to see the animals. At the same time, our itinerary was very reasonable. We had a good amount of relaxation throughout the trip. But we still saw spectacular scenes of lion hunting, wildebeest being born and learning to walk, wildebeest and zebra migration and so on. All of this is very good. Best safari team i have ever seen
We found recommendations for Lappet Faced on social media while planning our trip. During the planning process, Raymond was very professional and attentive, customizing a detailed itinerary based on our travel plans. As the journey unfolded, we found the arrangements to be very reasonable. The lodges and safari camps he recommended were also very comfortable.
The agency arranged two guides for us: Cliff and Eric. Cliff was an experienced safari ranger who helped us check off all the Big Five from our list, and we even saw lions multiple times and a leopard. Eric was responsible for airport pickup and our activities around Moshi. When we needed to adjust our itinerary in Moshi, Eric and Raymond coordinated seamlessly, arranging a fun hiking trip and a coffee tour for us. They also recommended some great restaurants and cafés.
This trip exceeded our expectations in every way! Lappet Faced may not be a large company, but their pricing is transparent and reasonable. We hope to travel with them again when we come back to climb Mount Kilimanjaro!

Lappet Faced Safaris is a relatively small operator with a team of 3-4 guides. I booked my trip about two months in advance, which allowed ample time for arrangements. The operator uses WeChat, making it very convenient for Chinese clients to communicate and plan itineraries. They provided detailed instructions and a clear breakdown of the budget, ensuring transparency throughout the process.
When my preferred camp was unavailable, Lappet Faced recommended Moyo Camp as an alternative, which turned out to be an excellent choice.
Our guide, Noel, was exceptional and comes highly recommended. With a degree in wildlife management and nine years of guiding experience, he is incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife. His expertise added immense value to the experience. Additionally, Noel’s driving skills were outstanding, which proved crucial during the safari. While we saw many other jeeps stuck in the mud, we never faced such issues thanks to his expertise.
The entire trip was executed strictly according to plan. We communicated our expectations to Noel regarding the animals we hoped to see, and he worked tirelessly to ensure we spotted them all. His dedication and professionalism truly made the experience unforgettable.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Lappet Faced Safaris and would highly recommend them to others. Their attention to detail, excellent communication, and the expertise of guides like Noel make them a top choice for an unforgettable safari experience.

Good experience
Francisco and Mike are very nice and experienced. From the first day we met they, they had everything in control. Although we have some national park entrance issue , but they solve it. And Mike let us saw many animals including lions cheetah elephants and so on. The last day was rainy day but Mike drove car very carefully so we don't have any car stuck problem~ if I come back here, I will choose them again!!!

My safari dream came true
We spent a very satisfying 5 day safari in mid Serengeti, Ndutu and Ngorongoro in late January.
When I was doing the initial sorting out, Eric impressed me with quick response, and paying much attention to my need. The breakdown cost of this company was very detailed and clear which helped me to understand what I would pay for this trip, while most other companies I contacted just provided a general cost.
We are lucky to have Alfred as our guide. He is an expert on the flora and fauna in Eastern Africa, and also a very good driver. He always could point out a distant animal or a bird when I couldn't spot anything there. With his guide, I recorded 57 species of animals and birds in our game drive, most of which I never saw or heard before.
