African Travels helped us create our dream journey travelling through Namibie, Botswana and Zimbabwe/ Victoria Falls. All the necessary documents, guidelines and information was provided in advance to take with us. We also had an app with all the information provided by African Travels.
They selected some beautiful camping sites en lodges for us and helped us put togehter the route through Namibia and Botswana. Also booked some excursions in advance for us.
When we needed help, which we did at one point, they were there for us immediately to help us out. I would highly recommend to take a GPS-phone with you when you travel through Africa by car.
Very quick response before and during our trip. African Travels works with local agents in the different countries.
We would recommend African Travels for your future journey to Africa.
We had some troubles with the car and African Travels backed us up.

Very very good tour operator
We were for the first time in South-afrika. African Travel had made our self driving tour from Johannesburg to Cape town. In 3 weeks we saw so much natur en cultur. The accomodations were splendid en the car and the flight were perfectly organised. The app travel key was of a good and helpfull use. The communication with Marieke on the tour was nice and friendly. We felt save and had trust in this organisation. We can surely apply African Travel.

Perfectely planned tour that made our first visit to Zimbabwe and Botswana a wonderful experience.
What can I say, it was an very well planned tour that started in Kasane and ended Johannesburg with many highlights on the way. We never felt unsafe and it was a perfect mixture of exploring the landscape, nature and wildlife on our own and the feeling of security which gave us the prebooked accomodations. Our personal highlights were the Bayete Guest Lodge in Vic Falls, the Ivory Lodge in Eastern Hwange Nationalpark, Wildtrax Safari Eco Lodge in Botwana and Sirheni Bushveld Camp in Kruger National Park. And of course all those Self Drive Safaris in Hwange and KNP. We can also recommend the boat cruises on Chobe River and the only thing we can complain about is that the Kubu Lodge - our first accomodation - did not offer boat cruises before sunrise.
The car provided by Ndlovu was made for the bumpy and sandy roads on our way through the nationalparks and we never had any problems with it. The car rental company as well as the members of the African Travels - team were always easy to contact.
The value for money you get with African Travels - Bookings is very good and the tour they planned for us suited our needs perfectly. Definitely highly recommended!

SIMPLY THE BEST
The fourth time we have traveled with African Travels; and once again >> bull's eye! Our Zambia trip was sublimely arranged: perfect locations, our food preferences were well communicated, guides/drivers on time. And African Travels is always available when you need them (unfortunately we had some flight cancellations). The next Africa trip is again with Marijnke and the African Travels team! Never settle for less; they are absolutely the best!

77-day Absolute Africa trip!
We started in Nairobi on 4.12.23 and ended on 18.2.24 in Cape Town. It was a great adventure, with the extra days we had booked, 84 days! We enjoyed it so much, every day! The truck life, the tent, the group trip, Pete the guide and Dave the driver and later Emias, it was AMAZING!!! So many beautiful things experienced and experience gained! No more 5-star hotels for me, from now on I will choose the 6-star ones back to basic❤️ thank you ladies at the office for the organization! I can recommend this trip to everyone!

We booked our first selfdrive tour after some previous overland tours booked through African Travels. The tour itself was perfectly designed with much room for our preferences and budget. We camped at places that we felt really suited us. During the trip itself, we needed a lot of help from African Travels due to flight problems (African Travels changed the itinerary accordingly during the night, whilst we were flying) and car problems. Our car had several hick-ups and every time we called African Travels, they made sure we received the right support, in such a way that it would affect our itinerary the least. We are very greatful for the great design of the tour and all the support African Travels has given us and we wouldn't book else than through African Travels for our next trips!
