The Tour was excellent
Our group of five had an amazing trip to Pilanesberg National Park, which we booked through Nhlalala Travel, and honestly, it was one of the best experiences we’ve had together.
The day started early with our pick-up in Pretoria central on time and everything was well organised.
The driver was friendly and made us feel comfortable right away.
We had enough restrooms stops
During the drive and shops ,we were all excited, talking about what animals we hoped to see.
Even the journey there felt enjoyable because the atmosphere in the vehicle was relaxed and fun.
When we arrived at Pilanesberg, the scenery immediately stood out. The park is so beautiful, with mountains, open plains, and lots of greenery. As soon as the game drive started, we were all quiet and focused, looking out for animals. It didn’t take long before we spotted our first animals, and that’s when the excitement really kicked in.
We saw elephants walking slowly across the road, and at one point they came quite close to the vehicle, which was both exciting and a little scary. We also saw zebras, giraffes, and different types of antelope. One of the best moments was watching a group of giraffes standing together in the distance—it felt like something out of a movie.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained a lot about the animals and their behaviour. He also made sure everyone in our group had a chance to see and take pictures, which made the experience feel personal. Being just five of us made it even better because it wasn’t crowded, and we could enjoy every moment.
It was quite hot during the day, but we stayed hydrated and didn’t let it ruin the experience. In fact, the weather made it feel like a real African safari. We shared laughs, took lots of pictures, and created memories that we will always remember.
Overall, Nhlalala Travel provided excellent service from start to finish. The trip was well planned, enjoyable, and truly unforgettable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a genuine and exciting safari experience.

Excellent all round!
We had a very seamless experience with Nhlalala Travel. We actually found them through reviews and they were not lying. Norman really was so good with communication from start to finish. It was great value for money and we would definitely recommend. We were picked up from our hotel in Joburg and driven to Kruger gate hotel with two lovely drivers - one of which was Normans brother (only tiny feedback was quite fast and erratic driving!). They were lovely and chatty in the car and so polite and welcoming. But also respected when we wanted a little nap.
The organisation of the safari drives was seamless and on the Saturday main drive, we were actually the only people in our vehicle so felt very special.

Once in a life time, perfect!
The team were amazing and Norman was very responsive over bookings. Each driver we interacted with was brilliant and the guides were amazing. We were lucky enough to have a full day safari to our selves and it was so special. I can’t wait to visit Kruger again and wouldn’t hesitate to book with Nhalalala travels. Kruger gate hotel was again so special and I could not fault the service.
Flexible and understanding
Had some lovely days in Kruger Park with nhalala travel. They were very flexible and can change the trip depending on my wishes. Additionally was my guide Khongi lovely!
The trip as itself was spectacular and can not point out how much worth it is to put som little extra money to go to the hotel Kruger Park Gate hotell. One of the best hotel I have ever visit!

All round a great experience.
We did a three day safari/the panorama route with Nhlalala travel and had a great time. Contact before our trip was prompt and informative and the booking process was seamless.
We stayed at Perrys bridge hollow which was an ideal location for accessing Kruger park. The views on the panorama route were incredible.
The service and overall experience was superb. Norman could not have been more accommodating and everything went very smoothly. He was informative, and told us lots about the history Kruger park and about the towns we passed through on our journey. Overall very good value for money and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic
Norman is simply an exceptional person. Thanks to him, we had an unforgettable stay at Kruger National Park. The hotel was superb, the food was excellent and we had the chance to see the big five and more!
We had a great day visiting exceptional viewpoints: gods window, potholes, three rondavels and Blyde river, lisbon falls. I recommend, book without hesitation!!

The Best experience I have ever had, and impossible without them.
Coming to South Africa for the first time with my partner, we were overwhelmed by the short stay and the amount of activities to potentially do. However, the team at Nhlalala travel made this process seamless, from organizing, coordinating and providing a sense of safety, comfort and excitement, that I can truly say resulted in the best trip I have ever had hands down.
Our guide Khongi, was one of a kind. An amazing soul that was extremely knowledgeable about all things South Africa. From the moment we landed at Johannesburg, our journey to Kruger National Park was filled with history and great music. Every step of the 6 hr trip up was filled with interesting cultural facts and we were lucky to have Khongi as our guide on the way there. Additionally, the check in process at Kruger, helping us navigate the safari pick up times, guides as well as just ensuring every day we were well looked after, Khongi went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this company based purely on how much care is put into every client’s trip.
Once we returned from Kruger, the Panoramic view on the way back was one of a kind. We stopped at the best locations and had an amazing time, at the many markets and view points. Khongi’s knowledge of the area meant we stopped at the best locations for sightseeing and meals.
In Johannesburg, the tour of the city which can be highly overwhelming for first time visitors, was made easy, our guide along with Khongi, took us on an incredible journey through the heart of Soweto, through the heart of the townships, explaining at every step the history behind what we are seeing but also the positive changes that are taking place. The real sense of South African pride was evident, and without Nhlalala, I can confidently say that we would not have been able to experience Johannesburg in such spectacular fashion.

UNFORGETABLE
We booked online from Brazil and were a little concerned at first since none of our agents here knew the company. They went to Joburg airport to fetch us upon our arrival and since then we were so well cared and pampered all the travel long.
Our guide, Norman, made every day a special day - always patient with my kids, eager to show us places and tell stories. We not only recommend the services but also consider them part of our family.

Best Tour Operator
We really enjoyed our safari trip and stayed at Sabi River Sun that organised by Norman from Nhlala Travel. Norman provided the best services, making sure we were being looked after. And the private travel from Tambo Airport to Sabi River Sun is a big plus!! I would recommend anyone that needs to book their safari trip at Kruger Park to book with Norman. The price is affordable, the tour is amazing and the operator is very realible - 5stars.
