We had very good experience with Samora, Manily with the safari guide Ally. Ally
We have spend four days on safari, Middle budget. Great descision. Lovely accomodation on Samora hotel in Arusha, great lodges as country lodge And marvelous morning with girrafes on Harmon Safari Camp on Serengeti. Many thanks to piš safari guide Ally WHO was looking for our safe Journey. Great driving in hard And difficult conditions. And thanks to him we have seen the BIG FIVE compleetly! Great experience!

Very professional and managed both the hiking process as well as the camping smoothly
We picked Samora from a list of three agents. From the beginning, we got the impression that service was important and Iddy who runs Samora went out of his way to put our minds at ease as well as provide information as requested (and promptly)
The 2 guides were both professional as well as understood the nuances of dealing with hikers who were not necessarily professional. The lead guide Gadi was exceptional, both in terms of how he managed the porters and the camp as well as the logistics, but also in the way he worked with each of us hikers. I would strongly recommend him as he brought a special element to the process. It's easy to ignore the element of food on these hikes, but Heric the chef was first class and churned out 3 hearty and tasty meals each day. Very important contributor to the satisfaction we got from the hike.
My one regret was not renting a private toilet (for $100 for the trip) as the facilities in each camp were not very convenient or hygienic. I would strongly suggest that you consider this.
The hotels we stayed in (Mrimba Palm and Charity) were basic and clean and provide the necessary comforts at reasonable prices. Be willing to accept non-availability of some items or minor inconveniences, hakuna matata!

Exceed my expectations!
I had looked at so many different tour companies and what sold me on Samora was all the reviews about Iddy and that I'm supporting a locally operated small business.
Iddy was highly knowledgeable and charismatic as a guide with a very inspirational outlook on life. I always enjoyed all our conversations. He also was thoughtful in checking in with our needs and adapting the schedule/plan on the fly to fit our pace.
He pays attention to the small touches such as refrigerated drinks, a well maintained car and warm picnic lunches which makes the experience feel elevated than the typical "packed lunch". The accommodation he selected for us was also perfect - clean, luxurious feeling, good hosts and good food! I felt that we got a more premium experience than I anticipated!
I highly recommend Samora for a tailored, premium and special safari experience.

Iddy (german/english speaking) and his team made this safari the highlight of my tansanian holiday
I was in the Arusha region end of Jan./beginning of feb. and booked a Safari with this company at short notice.
A 3-day tour in the Serengeti an Ngorongoro national parks and was more than happy.
We saw lions, rhinos, buffalos, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras and much more... Highly recommended

Ngorongoro Crater was the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!
Iddy, Jr., and Johnny were the best and most knowledgeable guides we could have ever hoped to have. The entire week just kept getting better and better. We were so close to elephants, lions, zebras, and so many more animals. I wish everyone could experience that level of happiness that we had at least once in their lifetimes. Very kind
We did two Safaris in Kenia, the experience with Samora Explorers in Tansania was simply the best.Iddy,the owner, answered all our questions about plants and animals with great knowledge.Got to see the big five and some no touristic places where Iddy helped me to buy some Kangas.Accommodation and food were excellent.Our family is looking forward to our next safari with Samoa Explorers,hopefully in 2023

Epic safari experience
Had the most epic experience with Samora explorers! Got to see the big 5 and had very close encounters! Iddy, Benja and Junior were the best guides; funny, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Would do it all over again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend to book a safari tour with them.

BEST TANZANIA SAFARI!
This Tanzania safari was by far one of my best travel experiences to date! Iddy from Samora Explorers made my trip one to remember and he went above and beyond to make sure I was having a good time all the time! I got to see the Big 5, the food was healthy and delicious, the national parks were all amazing, and the accommodation was great! Highly recommend booking a Tanzania Safari with Samora Explorers! Excellent operator, Ally-excellent guide and driver
This was my second safari in East Africa and it was the best. We have had a fantastic time on our 4 days safari and everything has exceeded our expectations! Our safari guide, Ally, was extremly knowledgeable and did everything to make sure we have the best experience and we see all the animals we wanted.
