We had the privilege of experiencing an unforgettable adventure in Tanzania, exploring the Ngorongoro Crater and the vast Serengeti. Breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife, and moments that will stay in our hearts forever.
A special thank you goes to Suma, our guide – an extraordinary person in every way. Not only was he incredibly professional, with deep knowledge of the wildlife, nature, and local culture, but he also welcomed us with genuine warmth, making us feel at home even in the heart of the savannah.
Suma was not just a guide, but a true travel companion: always attentive, helpful, and determined to make every moment of our safari the best it could be. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this journey even more special.

It was sincerely, the trip of a lifetime for myself, partner and my two adult kids! Micky curated our trip to perfection and our tour guide, Juma, executed it to perfection. He was very on point and knowledgeable about the area, culture, animals and birds. He took his work very seriously and made sure our expectations were met. I have the utmost respect for him and could not have been happier with his dedication and commitment to ensuring we were safe and well cared for.
We began our trip in Arusha, where Juma walked us through Arusha Center Market and to the Arusha Wisdom Training College which set the stage for understanding just how welcoming and friendly the Tanzanian people are and what a day in the life may look like. Day one we had a brief meeting with Juma about what we hoped to gain and experience from our trip. We were there for 2 weeks and visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Northern and Central Serengeti, Lake Natron and Zanzibar. Each accommodation, the lodges and tented camps, were exceptional and accommodating. They were better than what we would experience in the States, in my opinion. I highly recommend the hot air ballooning over the Serengeti, that was indescribable. We didn't see Rhino and a Leopard but was very happy with all we did see. Another reason to return:).
We did not change any money, we were equipped with plenty of low denomination US $$ and had zero issues. Just make sure the dollars are crisp with no frayed edges. The long transfers could be a bit harrowing on the unpaved rough roads and dust but Juma made sure we would travel when we would encounter less traffic. We did not encounter any mosquitos and the weather could not have been better. We did not request luxury travel but that is what it seemed we experienced. My critical feedback would be to reduce plastic waste by having the operator supply filtered water in 5 gallon jugs instead of the single use plastic water bottles and reduce food waste by supplying smaller lunches.
I am happy we experienced all of the above which allowed me to decide where I would spend the bulk of my time the next time around.

The Safari or dreams
We went on safari with Savannah in July and it was an incredible experience, all thanks mainly to our guide Emanuel.
From the moment we arrived at the airport until our departure, he followed us step by step, fulfilling all our requests, giving us thorough explanations and answering all our questions, all this using excellent Italian.
Emanuel is kind, knowledgeable, helpful and very nice, he was definitely an added value on this trip. He also always took good care of the jeep, cleaning it every evening after the day spent on Safari.
We visited three parks: the Ngorongoro crater, the Tarangire and the serengeti. The last two personally are the ones we enjoyed the most. The evening before we decided with Emanuel on the departure time, and in this respect too he was extremely flexible.
In the parks he tried to show us as many animals as possible, so much so that we even managed to see a leopard. Furthermore, my daughter wanted to have a face-to-face with a giraffe and Emanuel managed to please her thanks to a giraffe that was eating by the roadside.
In addition, during the safari days he always took care of the packed lunch, drinks and everything else that was needed.
The lodges were very nice and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and in this respect too we were extremely satisfied.
On the way back from the airport we wanted to do some shopping and eat red bananas and Emanuel accommodated us in this too.
Having said that, we would like to say a huge thank you to Emanuel for making this a unique experience, and we would recommend him to anyone planning to go on safari in Tanzania.

Unforgettable safari with Elisha!
Our recent trip to Tanzania was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the impeccable service and guidance provided by Elisha. From the moment we landed at Kilimanjaro Airport, Elisha was there to greet us with a sign bearing our name, making us feel welcomed and at ease.
**Efficient Use of Time and Cultural Insights**
On the first day, we efficiently traveled to Karatu, maximizing our time from the get-go. During the journey, Elisha shared fascinating insights about Tanzanian towns and culture, enriching our experience beyond just sightseeing.
**Exciting Wildlife Encounters**
Our second day took us through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to the Serengeti. We were thrilled to see giraffes up close, a truly exhilarating experience. Elisha offered invaluable advice at a roadside shop, suggesting we avoid purchasing items at higher prices elsewhere.
At the Ngorongoro gate, we purchased an animal checklist, which became a cherished souvenir. It allowed us to track the animals we saw, learning their names in both English and Swahili. This added an educational layer to our adventure.
**Serengeti Wonders and Balloon Safari**
Entering the Serengeti, we were immediately greeted by the sight of two majestic male lions. This was just the beginning; we also encountered cheetahs, hippos, elephants, zebras, and leopards, each sighting more awe-inspiring than the last.
The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the early morning balloon ride. The serene dawn over the savannah, with gazelles and giraffes gracefully moving below, was breathtaking. Viewing the landscape and wildlife from above was a unique and unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Serengeti. The tour was organized through a company called Miracle Experience. Their professionalism was evident from the pilot's thorough and engaging demonstration, ensuring we felt safe and informed throughout the journey.
**A Memorable Guide**
Most importantly, Elisha, our tour guide, made this journey truly special. His profound knowledge of wildlife, personal stories, and insights into safari vehicles enriched our understanding and appreciation of Tanzania. A knowledgeable and friendly person
I joined a 4-night, 5-day safari tour covering Tanzania's Ngorongoro National Park and Serengeti National Park. Our driver and tour guide was a man named Elisha. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the various animal species and their behaviors, and he skillfully exchanged information with other drivers to guide us to different locations. Thanks to him, we were able to see as many as 30 different species over four days, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, jackals, gazelles, and baboons. The hotels we stayed at were also wonderful, especially the Meliá Serengeti Lodge, where the food, service, rooms, and cleanliness were all top-notch.

Samwel Mangulai ~ An EXCEPTIONAL GUIDE!
We had only a few days on Safari in Tanzania, and hoped to witness sightings of the Wildebeest Migration. Samwel’s knowledge and expertise WOWED us. We were able to get up close and personal with a number of spectacular Wildebeest encounters. One had thousands of them running right alongside and crossing behind our vehicle. We also got fabulous close sightings of giraffe, lions, hippos, water buffalo, cheetahs, zebras, crocodiles and many beautiful and colorful birds. These included: Grey Crowned Crane, Maribou Stork, Secretary Bird, Superb Starling, Ostrich, Lilac Breasted Roller, African Fish Eagle, and Kori Bustard among them.
Samwel was able to give us great information on all of the animals we were so fortunate to see…His ability as an experienced guide allowed it to happen! Unforgettable adventure in Tanzania
