Life Changing Trip with Incredible Guide
It was a really simple procedure from the beginning of organizing this tour (with many questions) until the end of it. Meijo Safaris' tour operator and driver/guide were extremely polite! Serena was our preferred lodge, which we also recommend to others
Aside from that, we were really fortunate to see a variety of animals throughout our holiday, including lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and hyenas. We highly suggest this tour in April, with less vehicles surrounding the animals and on the super premium, because it allows you to spend more time within the park. Thank you once again!

Great safaris with Meijo and Assad
The four of us contacted several local guides for our safri trip, and finally chose Meijo. Their pricing was reasonable, and their sales team responded promptly. They were the most comfortable with us in terms of both determining the itinerary based on our schedule and designing hotels according to our budget.
Our safri trip was with Assad, who was very professional, humorous, and had an incredibly sharp eye. As a Muslim, he led us on this trip during Ramadan, fasting from sunrise to sunset, usually while we were still on our way back to the hotel. Under these conditions, he accompanied us for over ten hours of safaris each day.
Throughout the trip, we collected all sorts of Tanzanian animals – the Big Five, the Ugly Five, and the Beautiful Five – completing all the must-sees.
For Tanzania, choose Meijo and Assad – they're reliable.

excellent trip
Recommended by a Xiaohongshu blogger, I compared many 5.0 rated companies and ultimately chose Meijo based on four factors: price, response efficiency, service, and the ability to understand me. It certainly didn't disappoint. The 8-day trip was fantastic; my driver and guide were incredibly professional, making me feel completely safe, and they took excellent care of my 80-year-old grandmother. It was absolutely worth the trip! If I ever climb Kilimanjaro again, I will definitely choose Meijo again without hesitation.

This is an unprecedented experience and very unforgettable.
Meijo replied in a very timely manner when communicating the plan in the early stage, and communicated with the boss himself efficiently and directly. Thanks to the boss for planning a very perfect seven-day and six-night safari trip for us, because the flight left in the afternoon, the boss also sent us a half-day Arusha city tour. Our guide Abdul is very patient. He is funny and timely pays attention to our emotions. In terms of professionalism, he explains to us the habits of many animals and the culture of the Marseille tribe, which brings us a very good experience. He likes to watch football games and movies. We share our daily life, not only Customers and guides, he is completely our friend. I hope the meijo company will get better and better. Their service is completely worthy of 5 stars.

Perfect and recommend
What a perfect experience! I highly recommend this company. They meticulously adjust the itinerary according to your needs and discuss it with you. The off-road vehicle was comfortable with internet and electricity. Our guide, Hesman, has an eagle eye; he can spot animals that others miss first and secure the best spots. The hotels they arranged were also very comfortable. I had a truly wonderful time and highly recommend them!

Amazing trip
This was an extraordinary trip for me. Everything was new to us, and I was also filled with anxiety. Fortunately, our guides, Jordon and Othman, were skilled drivers, patient, and experienced, allowing us to see nearly every animal we could imagine. Othman knew over 200 bird species and spoke five languages, and he explained each animal we saw. Jordon was very responsible, always letting us know the next day's itinerary and meeting time in advance. I'm so lucky to have chosen Meijo Safari!

It was a very good trip to Africa. I was very happy to meet two very good guides, Othman and Jordon, who accompanied us through a few unforgettable days of safari. They were very professional, handsome and humorous. They took us to gather the Big Five of Africa and saw many animals. It was a super happy trip. Thank you Othman and Jordon

Meijo Safaris guide Abdul - he made us feel the heartbeat of Africa
If I had to thank one person for this trip, it wouldn't be for the animals I saw, but for meeting Abdul. He made me understand that a true guide opens more than just paths through the wilderness; they open doors to emotions and connections.
Before meeting Abdul, Africa to me was nothing more than the magnificent scenes in "Animal World," the "Big Five" waiting to be checked off a checklist. After meeting him, Africa became a living being with warmth, a breath of life, a heartbeat. This transformation stems from the way Abdul views this land—not the gaze of an employee looking at their workplace, but the deep affection of a child looking back at their mother's home.
I'll never forget that evening. As our car quietly parked near a herd of elephants, Abdul, instead of rushing into statistics, said in a near-whisper, "Look at that baby elephant, cuddling close to its mother. In Africa, family is everything." In that moment, I saw more than just "a herd of elephants," but the warm daily life of a family. The golden sunset shone upon them, and the air was filled with dust and tranquility. Abdul's silence was more powerful than any words. He gave us space to feel, to let that sacred tranquility reach our hearts. My eyes suddenly welled up, for I had touched the soul of this land, and Abdul was that gentle guide.
He had a strange magic that could transform a "sightseeing" into a "heart-to-heart." When he pointed to a lone male buffalo and whispered that it might have left the herd due to old age, his tone was free of judgment, only of deep understanding. In his eyes, each animal wasn't just a symbol, but an individual with a story to tell. He taught us to "observe" with respect and empathy, rather than "conquer" with a curiosity-driven mindset.
What touched me most was his sincerity, which went beyond service. One day, I was a little tired from a long, bumpy ride, and Abdul keenly noticed. He didn't point it out. Instead, he stopped the car on a breathtakingly beautiful hill, poured us some hot tea, and, gazing into the distance, said, "Here, sometimes doing nothing, just breathing, is the best safari." At that moment, he ceased to be a knowledgeable expert and became a fellow traveler, sharing his most intimate love for this land.
At farewell, Abdul shook our hands and said with a smile, "Now, you too have a friend in Africa." These words are more precious than any official thank-you.
So, if you ask me how Abdul was as a guide, I won't start by telling you how many cheetahs or lion prides he found. I'll tell you that he redefined my approach to nature. He gave us a journey to experience with our hearts, not just our eyes. He left us with more than just the thousands of photos in our cameras, but a heart warmed and stirred by the African sunset, the dust, and the vitality of life.
