Kapande was a perfect guide with a lot of Knowledge and very good english
We made a 3 day trip starting in Daresalam. Our guide Kapende picked us up and made the Journey an incredible Experience. He knows everything about the wildlife and nature and is very friendly as well. Would 💯 book again.

Kapande was a professional, friendly guide with much experience
We had a great safari with interesting tours. Everything was professional organized from the beginning to the end. We had a real professional guide (named Kapande) who did a great job and fulfilled all our wishes.
Also the Lodge was really nice with a big room, Swimmingpool and really helpful staff. Would recommend!

Perfect!
We did a 3 days safari in Nyere, we did the boat, walk and drive safari which was very nice! Quick response from Uwanda and value for money. We had the Safari Kapenda, he was a very nice man, told us a lot and was a very nice driver! Thankyou.

Fantastic tour!
The tour with Kapande was fantastic! He took us to every activity on time and picked us up again on time afterwards. Whenever he noticed during the safari or elsewhere that I wanted to take a photo, he always stopped immediately and gave me time to do so. Even in the national park, he drove back to the waterhole with the hippos so that I could see them again, even though the safari was already over. I would book the tour with Kapande again anytime!

Great experience
Our first safari ever, a 4 day trip by car from Dar to Selous/Nyerere park, 3 nights in Selous safari lodge. Uwanda offers great value for the money. Our driver/guide Francis was friendly and knowledgeable. Told lots about the wildlife and habitat. He even managed to find a leopard. An unforgettable experience.

Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and committed to providing the best for us.
We booked onto a 3 day safari in Selous Game Reserve which consisted of a full day game drive on day 1; a bush walk with local Masai and herbalist doctor, a local village tour with a local guide and a sunset river Safari on day 2; and a Masai village visit where we learnt about the village life and were able to join in some the activities on day 3. All of our drivers were very punctual and friendly and our guides were fantastic! So many brilliant stories from their lives here in Tanzania and facts about the different elements of life and nature here. Our accommodation was good. There had been an issue with our room before we arrived which rendered it out of action but they put us into another room which had been newly built and was clean, had a ceiling fan and good amenities including a constant supply of bottled water. As it was newly built there were a few teething problems but the staff were very quick to put anything right. The accommodation had a clean pool and food was good and plentiful.
Game drive day 1: Our guide Mr Martino was absolutely brilliant! He made us feel at ease the whole time and made sure we always had a good supply of water and there were bottles of soda too to drink. His knowledge on the animals was excellent and there weren’t any questions he wasn’t able to answer. The way the driver and Mr Martino found the animals in the vast park was incredibly impressive and we saw so many of the animals, up close and the whole experience is one we will remember forever.
Day 2: All guides on this day were brilliant. And we enjoyed each of the parts for different reasons. Our highlight was the river Safari where we got to enjoy sunset on the beach of the river, watching the hippos bathing and playing.
Day 3: the Masai visit was truly brilliant. The chief of the village took us around and immersed us into the village life for a few hours.
Overall, a visit we’ll never forget. Thank you so much!
