Top notch and Fantastic Safari Experts!
This was my first safari, invited to join my sisters on an incredible journey of discovery in the wilderness. Words cannot describe how excited and grateful to witness this experience of my lifetime.
The game drives memories were composed of awesome stories especially the time we were stuck in mud, how we managed to get out after 2 or more hours in the sweltering heat. Another time, help came from other jeeps who heard our cry for help thru the walkie talkies and to watch them in astonishment and the rescuers were relentless, as no one was left behind.
I was able to achieve the Big Five sightings in 2 days! I was lucky and thanks to Willie, his spotting expertise and knowledge I can say it was amazing!
Thank you Banok Safaris, I will truly recommend you and return in the future. My 12 days safari was definitely an unforgettable trip to remember forever!!

Just Excellent Service
Trip of a lifetime! We had an amazing honeymoon in Kenya thanks to Banok Safaris team. This was our first trip to Africa, my husband and I had no idea how to even start planning our trip and we are so thankful for the guidance thank Benson and the team provided. Itinerary was perfect and we covered the best part of Kenya including Ol Pejeta, Nakuru, Masai Mara and Amboseli for ten days safari. We felt the cost was well worth how much we got to see and do.
Our guide Willie was fantastic and knowledgeable about wildlife, great spotter of animals, very funny and friendly, he really made our honeymoon unforgettable.
We stayed in a great range of tented camps and hotels with amazing properties - all had wonderful staff that made our trip so memorable.
We really fulfilled a bucket list dream vacation, and e can't thank them enough for their personal attention to detail in making sure we were not just happy but delighted! Asante sana.

A wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime experience for our honeymoon!

Great Safari Trip

Excellent tour, great guides, great facilities but some planning issues
We are a late 60's couple from New Jersey. Benson put together an excellent 16 day personal tour for my wife and I. We travelled from Nairobi across southern Kenya to the Massai Mara and then south to Tanzania, the Serengeti, and many other national parks. Benson arranged for a separate tour company (Raven Tours) to escort us through Tanzania. Finally, our Banok guide met us at the Namanga border crossing near Amboseli National Park to finish our tour and return us to Nairobi Airport. Both transfers at the international borders went smoothly thanks to the guides. Both guides were excellent and really made the trip a once in a lifetime experience. We cannot recommend Robert in Kenya (for Banok Tours) and Rajabu (Roger) in Tanzania (for Raven Tours) highly enough!
In all cases, the accommodations and meals were excellent. Facilites were always clean and comfortable. We stayed in both lodges and glamping tent sites. All rooms and tents had running water and flush toilets, even in the most remote areas.
We were scheduled for a hot air balloon trip in Tanzania which we had paid for in advance. Unfortunately, it had to be canceled due to very high winds. Benson arranged for a complete refund for us before we left Tanzania.
The reason for the 4 star rating comes from the tour planning. Although most days went as planned, there were some instances where we could not visit a park or wildlife area as planned because travel times and distances were much greater than had been indicated in our tour itinerary, requiring us to forgo a stop or shorten a visit. Our tour guides worked out the kinks in the itinerary as needed. Roger was particularly helpful in this regard.
Overall it was the an excellent experience and the tour of a lifetiime. We would certainly go with Benson and Banok tours again.

Banok Safaris provided incredible wildlife viewing with great accommodations!
We first found Banok Safaris by their inviting online presence. Their safaris offered exactly what we were looking for in a multi-park experience--with an affordable price tag. We cross-checked our initial impression with stellar online reviews. Tour Operator Benson Mutinda was extremely responsive to our questions, and accommodated specific requests with ease. Our guide, Eric, was very knowledgeable about the animals and park rhythms, and was connected to a guide network that facilitated encounters with some of the most significant animal activity at all three parks--Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboselli. We had amazing, up-close views of cheetahs, lions, and leopards, as well as elephants, water buffalo, rhino, hippos, zebras, giraffes, jackels, hyenas, at least a half dozen antelope species, and key birds for my life list, including flamingos, ostriches, and 5 kinds of storks! Watching a family of big tusker elephants crossing in front of our vehicle with Mt. Kilimanjaro rising behind is an experience that will stay with me always. My husband and I, along with an adult daughter and her partner, enjoyed a private 6-day tour, with awesome scenery and game drives during the day, and relaxing, comfortable lodging at night. We highly recommend this outfit to anyone contemplating a first-time safari adventure or a return to these awe-inspiring landscapes.

Banok is Perfection
Banok has been organizing our trips for years and again they came thru flawlessly. From initial planning to end of the tour transfer back to the airport Ben, Operator of Banok, provided excellent service. And, the price isn’t exorbitantly expensive like other tour companies. He is very sensitive with costs that reflects the clients ability to afford it. We were very content with the whole production of the tour. We stayed at luxury camps and they were superb. Our Game drive guide Willie, whom I’ve known for the last 5 years was excellent and bent over backwards to please us with whatever was needed or wanted. Never go wrong with Banok. Banok is the best safari tour company.
I asked Ben at Banok Safari Tours to organize a very exclusive tour for us. They were all luxurious camps you can only get there by flying in a small plane. I never got my luggage from the US to Nairobi. Qatar finally delivered to the hotel we were staying but it got there the day we flew to Amboselli two days later. Ben personally contacted the airport initially and followed up on every detail. He picked up the two luggage that was delivered to the hotel, and took it to the regional airport and to the Safari Link desk. And, also convinced them to not charge the luggage fee. Great work! Ben, very meticulously handled this issue. Wow, I was impressed. Then a Camp personnel picked the luggage up when the plane landed in Amboselli. Ben actually followed up almost everyday to make sure we were happy and satisfied the entire 10 days tour. I’ve booked Banok before so know his working style. He’s a perfectionist and very reliable. I would recommend Banok to anyone who is thinking of doing a Kenya Safari. You will not regret it!!

Our 12 Days Safari
Our 12 days safari with Banok Safaris through Kenya and Tanzania was truly the trip of a lifetime. From the moment we landed, everything was well organized, and we felt completely taken care of. Benson was friendly, and always made sure we were comfortable. We visited amazing places like Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire park and Amboseli. Each park was unique and full of wildlife - we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, buffaloes, cheetahs and also had a wonderful hot air balloon over Masai Mara.
We had the best guides who were very experienced which made every game drive exciting and informative. The accommodations were beautiful and cozy, with lovely views and great food.
As a couple we enjoyed the romantic sunsets, peaceful campfires, and private moments in nature. Banok Safaris gave us a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend!
