Amazing! Elia was the best guide/driver!
I had an enjoyable trip and unforgettable first african safari.
Robert & Elia took good care of us the whole time. We had good meals, very comfortable accomodations and just pure fun game driving.
The main highlight for me was my first ever hotair balloon safari in Ndutu, the best! Also, our encounter with the Maasai tribe of Manyara.
On the game drives, we aimed to see all the big five. Luckily, we saw 4 out of 5. I guess we'll have to comeback for the leopards since they camouflage too much that we didn't get to see even one.
Overall, RO Scavenger Safaris gave us more than what we expected. A hundred times and more recommended! šš»

Amazing safari experience provided by Silas who provided a lot of info & attention to every detail.
Silas is a passionate knowledgable and conscientious tour guide with Ro Scavenger Safaris who provided us with an unforgettable experience. We saw the big 5 as well as dozens of other animals close up & in the distance, sleeping, grazing, mating, walking, running, fighting, etc. in other words, we were in the midst of the animals habitat, only protected by our caravan. It was exciting and humbling at the same time. Was a superb value for the money! Iāll definitely return!

Theyāre so nice and hospitable
We did a 5-day safari that included Tarangire National Park, Serengeti (2days), Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. The experience in each location was unique, and we enjoyed the first 3 locations a lot, but Manyara didnāt have a lot of wildlife and we could have probably skipped it and added another day in Serengeti. Our guide Elie was great, and was quick in identifying animals for us. Highly recommend!

Amazing Experience...
We chose To Scavenger Safaris to organise a customised 10 day safari for the 2 of us as we had been to Tanzania many years before and had pretty specific ideas about the itinerary we wanted. Robert was prompt and recommended a package which aligned with our requirements perfectly and so we chose Ro Scavenger Safaris over a number of other highly rated tour companies who responded to us.
Their vehicle was of high quality and well equipped, the game drive food always tasty, plentiful and well presented, the chosen lodges were superb for the mid range level we requested (though large Serena Lodge at Ngorongoro crater while spectacularly positioned and of high quality lacked the intimate, remote feel of the smaller lodges) and the lodge food was always excellent.
But the best part for us was our guide, professional, a great animal spotter, exceptionally knowledgeable about the wildlife but also a great resource on Tanzanian culture and history, and most importantly engaging, enthusiastic and passionate to ensure he kept us surprised and excited with our experiences each and every day.
We would absolutely recommend Ro Scavenger Safaris as an exceptional safari provider.

Our unforgettable Tanzania trip with RO Scavenger safaris was absolutely worthwhile
Our trip to Tanzania was truly unforgettable, and choosing RO Scavenger safaris was absolutely the best decision we made. A huge thank you to the entire RO Scavenger safaris for giving my husband and me such a perfect and memorable journey.
I highly recommend them for two main reasons:
First, I wholeheartedly recommend RO Scavenger safaris
From the moment we decided to travel, through countless discussions, to the finalization of our itinerary, Silas was patient, attentive, and extremely helpful. He revised our itinerary more than 10 times and always tried his best to meet our needs. Once confirmed, he carefully booked and double-checked every hotel for each day, giving us complete peace of mind. The entire 10-day safari and accommodation arrangements were flawless, and great attention was paid to service quality.
Second, I sincerely recommend our guide, Lyzer.
With 10 years of professional experience, he is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled. More importantly, he truly loves animals and respects nature, which perfectly matches our values on wildlife protection. He strictly followed all safari rules and never disturbed the animals, allowing us to enjoy nature comfortably and safely.
Lyzer knows the habits of many kinds of wild animals and patiently taught us so much about nature and wildlife along the way. Our safari was not just about āseeing the Big Fiveā ā it deepened our respect and understanding of nature, made us fall in love with this land, and gave our journey real meaning.
Before the trip, I compared many companies, and RO Scavenger safaris offered a very competitive price without compromising quality ā excellent value for money.
This African trip was not easy: we spent nearly 50 hours traveling roundātrip, and we almost got stranded at Doha Airport due to regional tensions on our way back. But thanks to the professional, reliable, and warm service from RO Scavenger safaris, every moment of the journey was completely worthwhile.

It allowed us to experience an almost perfect journey

Superb safari from start to finish
We had an incredible safari with RO Scavenger. Itās a boutique operation owned and run by a former safari guide and his experience really showed. Silas was incredible to work with from the outset and tailored the safari to our every need, factoring in specific experiences we wanted and ensuring it all fitted within our budget.
We also had a superb guide called Edward who is super friendly and seemingly knows pretty much every other guide out there, which was useful for getting tip offs for rare sightings. He has years of experience and it showed. While other guides would be jostling for position, heād sit back knowing where the animals would go to, ensuring we had front row seats for several incredible moments. We saw all the big five, had some very close encounters and got to see some truly unique animal behaviour experiences.
We had booked the safari for our honeymoon and it RO Scavenger organised several wonderful little touches everywhere we stayed. It was a truly memorable experience - and made all the better by the fabulous food and unending supply of wine, beers and snacks!

Fantastic experience!
