Outstanding safari experience with an exceptional guide Edward
We had an amazing experience with RO Scavenger Safaris. Our driver and guide, Edward, was incredibly professional, responsible, and attentive throughout the trip. His ability to spot animals was truly impressive — he always seemed to know exactly where to go, and thanks to him we saw so many incredible wildlife moments. He was patient, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe and well taken care of at all times. Highly recommend this company, and especially Edward, for an unforgettable safari!

We had great experience with the ageny and our guide Edward
We contacted multiple agencies and settled with RO because of the combination of reasonable price and good communication (special shout out to Silas). I'm pleased to say that they lived up to our expectations and went beyond it on multiple occasions to give us a safari experience we treasured much. Our driver and guide Edward is a disciplined guy who always keep the car tidy and a professional who knows what his doing when looking for animals. For gaming drives, having the right guide really makes all the difference and for us Edward is the guy. For multiple times, we were the first to spot lion/cheeta/leopard because of Edward. And when others share locations where animals can be found, he is quick to get there. He also accommodated us for early start of the day to have the best chance of seeing the big cats and drived us for long hours to help us capture as much as possible. It is also a very heart warming surprise that the director Robert prepared us a gift for our honeymoon. So all in all, I would sincerely recommend RO's service to travelers interested in safari. We had a great time.

Excellent organisation and helpful
Excellent communication before the trip. Edward my guide went out of his way to make my safari a wonderful experience. He worked extremely hard, was a careful driver and he was a positive and respectful guide. My wildlife viewings were fantastic saw many lions, witnessed a cheetah make a kill, saw a number of animals eating their food after a kill. Edward was always very patient as we often just sat and spent time observing nature. My accommodation arranged with the tour company and with my ideas taken in consideration and budget were all very good. Highly recommended.

Organized and awesome.
We had a three-day custom tour of Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Tarangire National Park. From start to finish, our guide, Edward, was kind, generous, and very, very knowledgeable. He also had a great sense of humour. The Farm of Dreams resort was beautiful and comfortable. We couldn’t ask for a better safari experience – thank you so much to RO Scavenger – Silas and Edward went above and beyond for us. Great value for the money.

Edward was patient and highly knowledgeable about the environment and wildlife
As someone who had never booked a trip through a tour operator before, I was hesitant—especially given how expensive these trips can be. But we were so fortunate to find such a great company. The booking process was smooth and easy, and Silas was incredibly knowledgeable, helping us organize the trip efficiently and save valuable time. Our guide Edward was patient, friendly, and deeply knowledgeable about the wildlife and environment. We always felt safe, and he made each moment in Tanzania engaging and memorable. We did a 5-day safari, and now my kids can’t stop telling everyone about the experience. The “pole pole” (slowly, slowly) pace was perfect for our family. We’re already planning to come back to visit the Maasai Mara and hope this same team can help us plan that trip in the near future.

Our Safari was such an incredible experience. Harry, our guide, is very knowledgeable about everything from animals to plants to birds. We ask a million questions and he always answers leading us to learn so much about safari and culture!
Everyday we were insanely close to animals and always the first or second car to the scene! It felt like we had all the beauty to ourselves. Lunches were amazing. I was thinking that we would be eating sandwiches everyday but I was wrong. Chicken, rice, sauces, pasta dishes, bread, fruit, desserts, and so much more exceeded my expectations.
Days were long but never seemed to be with excursions like horseback riding, game drives, night drives, hot air balloon. RO scavenger made this trip so amazing. I will think about this incredible experience everyday! Thank you!!

This was mine and my family’s first experience in Africa and the Ro Scavenger team went so above and beyond to make sure every piece of the trip was perfect. They helped in every single detail we wanted to tweak and change during the planning process and we’re on the ball from Day 1. Joshua and Silas were great company and helped manage half of our parties flight delay, still managing to get us all to enjoy every activity we planned and keeping me entertained with a waterfall hike in the meantime. Then Harry, our guide, was immaculate. He answered every question we had about the culture, the animals, the plants, history, and everything in between. We were always one of the first on scene and even got to see all of The Big 5 in our first 4 days of being there!! I couldn’t speak more highly of this company and the experience we had!!!!!

Knowledgeable, thoughtful, and well versed in the full ecosystem that encompasses the park
I’ve been to Tarangire National Park a half dozen times, and this trip has easily been my favorite. It’s always a stunning place, but what made this visit stand out were the moments in between spotting elephants, giraffes, gazelles, lions, and more. Our guide, Joshua, brought the park to life with his deep knowledge of the ecology and ecosystem—turning every quiet stretch into an opportunity to learn something new about this dynamic landscape. Unforgettable experience!
Edward took us on the most incredible 8-day safari across several national parks in Tanzania. He is not only highly fluent in English but also knowledgeable, caring, and passionate about wildlife. He always put our safety first and ensured we were comfortable, happy, and had the best possible chance to see wildlife from the best angles — which we absolutely did. His patience and professionalism made every drive both educational and fascinating. We spotted animals I never thought I’d see up close — we saw the Big Five and even a baby leopard!
The team was incredibly professional and responsive right from the initial booking. They answered all my questions promptly, provided helpful information, and made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. I always felt well-informed and looked after.
In terms of value for money, this experience truly delivered. From quality guiding and beautiful lodges to seamless logistics and thoughtful personal touches, every dollar felt well spent. I’ve done a fair bit of travel, and this was genuinely one of the most worthwhile trips I’ve ever taken.
