Dreams came true with Awuor
I submitted several requests to different tour companies but picked Awuor based on the communications I initially had with Lencer.
She was quick to respond and always willing to guide and assist. She was also available to assist when we arrived and could not find the hotel transport. She relayed information to ensure we were taken care of. Thank you again!
Our Safari was guided by Jonathan. He was the best! His knowledge of the area, the people and of course the wildlife was above and beyond expectations. Each day we made a plan and he was able to adjust and accommodate any unexpected things that came up. He also taught us a little Swahili.
Jonathan was always anticipating the animals. He always seemed to have a sixth sense and knew where the animals would be. His sight was unbelievable. He could see things I couldn’t see with binoculars..ha! He heard elephants rumbling that I couldn’t hear and sure enough they were just around the corner!
This trip was a dream come true. We sat surrounded by a pride of lions, watched cheetahs from near and far, herds of elephants, encountered Hippos, Giraffes, Ostriches, Elands, Water Buffalo, and everything else imaginable. Jonathan knew every bird and their calls.
We also visited a Masai village where we were shown some of their traditional customs.
All in all the best trip ever! Everything was well coordinated and the Sopas and hotels were clean and comfortable. The people of Kenya were warm and friendly. I would recommend Awuor as a great tour company.

From the beginning, Lencer and the Awuor team went out of there way to plan the most amazing itinerary for my FIRST (& definitely NOT last) visit to Kenya. As a woman traveling alone, I was extra cautious in preparing for this trip. I had nothing to worry about. Awuor responded from across the globe night and day & planned the most magnificent itinerary, with coveted camps & resorts, flexible game drive plans, and the best driver & guide I could have ever imagined. Professional tour agency
I have every positive thing to say about this tour agency. Sam tailor-made a tour in accordance with our request. Their price was relatively lower as compared to other companies yet their services were never compromised. Sam came to meet us at the airport where he briefed us about our safari and handed us over to George who was going to be our guide. George is a talented story teller and a keen driver. Since we took a private tour, he allowed us to decide when we wanted to go out for game drives. He was always ready to help whenever we didn't understand something or had challenges. My family is happy and we thank Awuor Escapades for making our dream safari come true. We recommend this company to anyone planning to visit Kenya.

A perfect safari experience with Awuor Escapades
From start to finish, our safari with Awuor Escapades was absolutely amazing! The organization in advance via WhatsApp with Lencer was smooth and incredibly professional. She always responded immediately, was very solution-oriented, and made the whole process stress-free. She even adjusted our itinerary, suggesting we visit Samburu National Park instead of Amboseli – and looking back, it was the best decision we could have made!
Our 6-day safari took us from Samburu to Lake Nakuru and finally to the incredible Masai Mara. Each destination offered its own unique highlights, and everything ran seamlessly.
A very special thank you goes to our fantastic guide, Nick. He truly made our safari unforgettable. With his experience, patience, and sharp eyes, we were able to see everything we had hoped for – including multiple leopards, lions, cheetahs, and even a spectacular river crossing of the wildebeest. Nick also shared fascinating insights about the animals and the Maasai people, enriching our experience even more.
We are so grateful to Nick and the entire Awuor Escapades team for this unforgettable journey. We’ll definitely be back – and wouldn’t want to travel with anyone else!

Overall Awuor was good
Lencer has followed up very closely from the beginning . Joseph was the best driver guy I have ever met. Enkorok Safari Camp was lousy. No hot water for shower and no electricity at night for 3 consecutive nights out of 4 days. The people there were very nice though. Should this happen in other countries, a compensation or credit must be given to the guests but wonder if this would work in Kenya.
