Wonderful experience from the Airport to end
Despite arriving with a late night flight , i just got out of Kilimanjaro International Airport and met Joel the guide who briefed us about Mount Kilimanjaro but it was dark we couldn’t see it, explained about the culture and lifestyle in Arusha. Our Safari guide Asad was the best he did whatever he could so that we see all the big five in Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. We were very happy with everything!
Highly recommended using Dallas Africa Safaris.

Fantastic
The guides were very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with, explaining to us in great detail. Tunu “the explorer” even recommended places to visit and stay in Zanzibar, he was fantastic and made everything go smoothly during our stay.
It was my first time booking online, I won't hesitate to do it again soon.
Thank you very much Tunu.

Group well managed
A senior group and we have been in a 3 days trip. Great service from time of enquiry to following up with us after and very generous with the pricing. You managed a large group safari. We are very grateful for your service.

Everything thing that you would dream of while on safari.
Quite an experience with high class guides, food, day trips and cultural experience. Definitely the best value of money. Everything went as expected and planned with high professionalism and timing. I will definitely do it again. Fluent in English, Swahili, Spanish, Italian and French Tunu the owner definitely made our experience on safari one to remember. Am definitely going back next year.

Dirty campsite.Bad organisation of the group/logistics. Driver without any interest on you to enjoy
We were 2 people and made a 6-day Safari at the end of September 2025 with Dallas Safari. We had booked this agency due to its good reviews. However after the experience, I honestly have no idea where the 5-stars review come from.
Communication prior the safari was very good and Tunu's quick replies were very helpful for us in order to organise the trip quicky.
Unfortunately the group sharing the vehicle (7 people) was organised in a way, that we had to be dropped at 3 different accommodations every time, with accomodations being almost 1h apart from each other. That meant a lot of time that we were loosing everyday instead of doing proper safari (up to 2h/day lost on this!), since our driver (Justin) would discount this driving time from the total safari time. This situation made us very unhappy since compared to other groups we were having much less safari time. Also, we were always missing dawn, sunrise and sunset, the time where animals are more active, because we were being picked up at 9:00 and dropped off at 17:00
On top of that, our driver (Justin) was always wanting to leave every spot with animals after very few minutes. Once we saw 20 baby lions together and after few minutes he wanted to leave straight away and we had to have several arguments with him in order to stay some more minutes, which is quite absurd. I dont pay this ammount of money to be begging to stay in order watching baby lions for 5 minutes.
The last day we change driver (Clement) and the new one was much better, willing to explain everything and waiting for us to watch animals without being in a hurry to leave.
Our accommodation in Serengueti was a camping site. Unfortunately, at the camping site showers and toilets were very dirty, with mouse poo in the showers. Even the place to wash your hands was dirty. In this camping there was not hot water and it gets very cold at night. Nobody warned us of this and if we had known in advance, we would have definitely not have chosen this camping as accommodation.
Overall, I would not repeat the experience unfortunately and would search an alternative company.
Reply from Dallas Africa Safaris
Posted on Feb 11, 2026Dear Iris,
First of all, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your 6-day safari with us in September 2025. We truly appreciate your honest comments. While we are very sorry to hear that parts of your experience did not meet your expectations, we also value the opportunity to respond and clarify.
We are pleased that you found the pre-safari communication with Tunu helpful and efficient. At Dallas Africa Safaris, we pride ourselves on clear, responsive planning, and we’re glad this part of your journey reflected our usual high standards.
Regarding the shared vehicle logistics, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by multiple accommodation drop-offs. On group safaris, especially in high season, guests may stay in different camps and lodges within the same ecosystem, which results in additional driving time. That said, our intention is never to reduce actual game viewing time. We regret that you felt safari hours were shortened and understand how valuable early morning and late afternoon wildlife moments are. Normally, our itineraries are structured to maximize wildlife viewing within park regulations and distances involved.
Concerning your experience with Justin, we are sorry to hear that you felt rushed at sightings. This is certainly not the standard we set for our guides. Our driver-guides are professionally trained, experienced, and widely praised for their knowledge and dedication. In fact, Justin has guided many successful safaris with excellent feedback. However, every guest’s expectations and pace can differ, and we regret that there was a mismatch during your time together. We appreciate you mentioning that Clement provided a much more satisfying experience on your final day, this reflects the quality and professionalism we consistently aim to deliver across our team.
With regard to the Serengeti campsite conditions, we are truly sorry about the cleanliness issues you encountered. Public and shared campsites inside national parks are managed by park authorities, not private tour operators, and standards can occasionally fluctuate — particularly during peak travel periods. Nonetheless, guest comfort remains very important to us. We always encourage clients to communicate concerns immediately during the safari so we can intervene or explore possible solutions in real time. We also regret if the basic nature of public camping (including limited hot water and cold nights) was not emphasized clearly enough beforehand. Many travelers choose this option for its affordability and proximity to nature, but we fully understand that it is not for everyone.
While we are disappointed that your overall experience did not fully meet your expectations, we respectfully stand by Dallas Africa Safaris as a reputable and dedicated tour operator. The majority of our guests consistently rate us highly for our organization, guiding standards, and unforgettable wildlife experiences. We remain committed to continuous improvement and take feedback like yours seriously in order to refine logistics and communication even further.
We truly value that you chose to travel with us and are sorry that some aspects fell short. Should you ever consider returning to Tanzania, we would welcome the opportunity to provide you with a different safari style — perhaps a private safari or upgraded accommodation — to better match your preferences.
We wish you all the best in your future travels.
Warm regards,
Dallas Africa Safaris Team

One day safari
Really great 1 day safari. The process was very easy. We got to see lots of animals in just one day, our guide was great. Very chatty and informative. Would highly recommend. Dallas Africa Safari also bought me a birthday cake for when we arrived back in Zanzibar. Thank you very much.

Very professional, well organized!
We used Dallas Safaris for a one-day fly in safari to Mikumi national park. After being picked up from our hotel in Zanzibar, with the driver arriving ahead of the agreed time and waiting patiently for us, we flew with a local charter plane to the park. On landing the guide, Riccardo, was already waiting with the safari vehicle and after a quick toilet stop we started our drive. Riccardo was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, sharing his knowledge and passion for the park. We managed to see loads of wildlife, including lions, and after a nice lunch we went on another drive before flying back to Zanzibar where the same driver was waiting to take us back to the hotel. Overall a superb experience and truly very well organized!!
Best experience
Our experience with Dallas Safari Company was beyond expectations! From the moment we were picked up, everything was perfectly organized and stress-free. Our guide, Malisa, was outstanding — knowledgeable, professional, and so passionate about sharing the beauty of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes. He made every game drive exciting and unforgettable.
The accommodations arranged for us were equally impressive, especially Safari Haven Serengeti Lodge, where the warm welcome and beautiful tented setting made us feel at home while still enjoying a touch of luxury. Every detail, from the seamless transfers to the meals and itinerary, was handled with such care.
This safari was truly the adventure of a lifetime, and we are so grateful to Dallas Safari Company for making it so special. If you are looking for a perfectly organized safari with amazing service and memories that will last forever, look no further — Dallas Safari Company is the one!
