Fantastic!
For my first time on a safari experience, I had an amazing time and this was down to the caring and hardworking staff at Josh Dreamland safari. A lot of information given about the animals and we were made to feel safe on our experience. The safari tour was amazing and I definitely want to come back

It was a great safari seeing all the big 5 and so many more. Stayed in some amazing tented lodges and our guide was pleasent and knowledgeable

Budget safari exceeded expectations
We had a great time on our safari. Our guide, Jabir, was awesome. He was the best at spotting animals, routinely checked in with us throughout the trip, and was a genuinely kind and fun person to be around. He even arranged for my boyfriend to have a cake on his birthday! Mathayo our chef kept us full with 3 yummy meals a day that exceeded my expectations of food while camping. Angel at the office was so helpful answering my questions prior to booking and making sure we had all the information to make the trip spectacular on a budget. Finally, the camping was perhaps the most comfortable I've ever been camping. Every night the tent was already set up for us and had a thick sleeping pad or two with a sleeping bag and the facilities all had showers and toilets. I would highly recommend Josh Dreamland Safari. We had such a memorable time not only seeing beautiful animals but also meeting so many fun people along the way.

Very nice Safari with Josh Dream Land ! We saw lot of animals, our guide Prayce made is maximum to make us enjoy the tour. The food of Pasco was really tasty and in quantity. Angele who organize this for me was kind, patient and transparent about what is included or no ! And Rama, the driver, helped me a lot on my last day to manage some personals stuffs. Thanks :)

Reliable company, great food and wildlife encounters
We enjoyed our safari with Josh Dreamland. We did the 5 day, 4 night budget camping safari.
The pros:
- trustworthy company, everything all organised well
- great communication with Elizabeth leading up to the safari
- easy payment options
- free Josh Dreamland T-shirt!
- GREAT food - chef Matthew absolutely outdid himself for all the meals and we didn't go hungry
- free water, beer, coke
- epic scenery and wildlife encounters
- accomodation was basic but sufficient, the tents, mattresses and sleeping bags were provided by the campgrounds and were clean.
There were elephants and baboons at the Ngorongoro camp!!!
Things to consider:
- Note that Josh Dreamland work with a few other companies, and we ended up on a tour led by Serengeti African Tours instead. The others on our tour had booked through a few other companies, too. This was fine except one couple had booked the lodge stay as opposed to the budget camping stay, so quite a bit of time was spent in the morning and evening picking them up / dropping them off as our accomodation wasn't nearby. This ate into our safari time particularly on our second Serengeti morning. This is why we've reviewed only 4 stars :)
To avoid this, maybe when booking with them just ask to make sure everyone on your tour is doing the same either budget OR lodges, not a mix of both :)

Amazing Experience
I had a few unplanned things like the group changing during the tour.
The driver Richard was funny, knew the parks perfectly, but was sometimes moody and drove way too close to animals that were on the road.
Still 5 Stars for Elizabeth who was absolutely amazing in taking care of me and everything. The food was amazing. The accomodations were good and the Serengeti and ngorongoro were breathtakingly beautiful.
The kilimanjaro hike was nice but not what I expected. More transparency/details would be nice here

Amazing trip
We have just completed a 7 day Safari trip with Josh Dreamland Safaris. We can’t recommend them highly enough. Booking the trip was so easy, Elizabeth taylor made the perfect itinerary for us. Calvin who was our driver was just great, he was so knowledgeable and nothing was a problem, he went above and beyond.
We can not recommend enough Josh Dreamland Safaris. 6 Stars.

Totally Fantastic
Excellent service, lovely lodges and friendly , helpful people. Kelvin our driver guide was soooo good.
We are very experienced safari goers and this rated as one of the best, maybe the best, given the amazing wildlife we saw.
KML didn't transfer our luggage so we arrived with nothing and we were leaving for our first lodge early next morning. The amazing Elizabeth in the office liaised with the airport and sorted the problem. Kelvin got the luggage for us so we could contine our trip in clean clothes!
Would definitely recommend Josh Dreamland
and intend to be back!

Solid service and a breathtaking experience!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience traveling with Josh Dreamland! We saw and learned more than we could have ever imagined beforehand! We don't think there's a better value that you could get for these prices. The office responded to our texts near-on immediately. Our guide was very knowledgeable, experienced and really funny. Our accomodations were really charming and we slept very well. Our cars were in decent enough condition but due to the rough terrain the transmission got damaged beyond repair so we were stranded for a while. However, we were very impressed with the organisation to get us back on the road as quick as possible and the time we lost was made up for! We want to thank everybody at Josh Dreamland but especially Angel and Bulldozer for helping us have an amazing time and completing the big 5!
