Unforgettable
From start to finish our experience with King Mufasa was excellent! We had a few quotes from safari bookings but the personal touch from King Mufasa set them apart. We had no clue where to start when booking a safari and they answered all (and there was a lot) of my questions and helped me create the perfect safari trip for us. We mentioned that it was our honeymoon and they went above and beyond organising a personalised tyre cover and treats at the lodge.
Pick up from the hotel was smooth and efficient all the way through to being dropped back off, everything was handled professionally and effortlessly.
The safari itself:
We chose a private safari and I’m glad we did as we had lots of space and could do things as our own speed.
We were picked up from the Serona airstrip straight into our drive. Our driver Lidnev was very knowledgeable on the park and the animals, explaining things as we drove. He gave us enough time to admire the animals and take photos whilst also making sure we had the opportunity to see more of what the park offered. We managed to see 4 out of the big 5 within the two day trip with additional bonus of seeing a cheetah on the planes. We saw so many animals we were overwhelmed. It truly was a once in a lifetime opportunity. The jeep itself was comfortable and spacious with a fridge filled with beer, soft drinks and refreshments. We were able to stand up and look out for animals out of the roof which made it even better for spotting them. We did one day Serengeti and one day ngorongoro crater and this was ideal for seeing the most amount of animals and also the different environments. Lidnev navigated them perfectly to ensure we saw everything we wanted to see.
The lodge: safari haven was perfect for what we needed, food was good (chicken curry lunch, buffet dinner/breakfast and chicken and rice for lunch on the drive the next day. Staff were very friendly and the lodge itself was stunning - right in the heart of the national park! We woke up to sounds of elephants near our lodge!
Overall I couldn’t recommend these guys enough! This was a once in a lifetime trip making memories that will last a lifetime.

Highly professional and genuinely caring tour operator! Smooth organization & deep expertise!
We’ve just returned from an unforgettable 3-day safari in Tanzania, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. We visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire, and every moment was incredibly well organized and smooth from start to finish.
A huge thank you to our driver, Manfred, who truly made the trip special. He was not only very friendly and approachable, but also extremely knowledgeable about the fauna and flora. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience.
The lodges we stayed in were absolutely amazing—comfortable, beautiful, and perfectly located, adding even more magic to the whole adventure.
We also want to mention Davis, the owner of King Mufasa Expeditions, who was very kind and welcoming. It was such a nice personal touch that he met us at the end of our safari and even gave gifts to all of us, including our 13-year-old son. That gesture really meant a lot.
Overall, this was a fantastic experience that we will cherish forever. We highly recommend King Mufasa Expeditions to anyone looking for a well-organized, friendly, and truly memorable safari!

Booking a Safari and getting an Adventure!
3 days 3 parks is quite a ride and an unforgettable adventure. We booked a safari in off season and got the experience we secretly hoped for! Lush greens, thousands of beautiful creatures, muddy roads, an highly experienced and thoughtful guide with outstanding driving skills, rain and sun at the same time, astonishing cloud formations and spectacular views - all creating the perfect scenery which on top revealed not only the famous big five but also rare beauties like cheetas and a serval cat! The accommodation and the friendly stuff in the middle of the Serengeti made us very welcome in a place, where humans are only the guests! Our competent guide Kelvin knows the parks like he grew up there and instinctively took the right turns to present them to us (brother, mum and me) in their most beautiful appearance! Superb experience with a smooth and fantastic tour operator!
Ok! This was truly something extraordinary, an unforgettable adventure. I hardly expected to immerse myself so deeply in a world of such immense and powerful nature. Even though it was only three days, it created memories that will last a lifetime.
From the Serengeti, through the Ngorongoro Crater, to Tarangire, we were gifted with incredible wildlife encounters, dramatic and ever-changing weather, and the lushest greenery I have ever experienced. Traveling in the off-season made it even more special, a crazy beautiful experience.
Kelvin, our guide and driver, is a kind and humble person with remarkable knowledge—not only about the animals, but also about his vehicle. His driving skills are exceptional. The guides in general operate like a caring family, supporting each other with genuine positivity and generosity, creating a wonderfully relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Seeing the Big Five was, in fact, only a small part of a much richer and more meaningful safari experience filled with adventure and connection. Needless to say, the organization was extremely accommodating and handled everything with great professionalism, always attentive to our wishes.
Thank you, Davis, for this unforgettable journey! I am certain our paths will cross again, sooner or later.

Caring and quick to respond
Davis responded to my messages immediately and made sure we were kept up to date with the journey. He was even there to meet us personally at the Arusha airport when we arrived from Zanzibar.
We were on a two-day safari (Tarangire + Ngorongoro Crater). Especially the guide/jeep driver in Tarangire was very competent and gave us a lot of details about the park and the animals. Both drivers also listened well to our wishes and ensured that our safari experience was of high quality.

Quite flexible and reliable.
We did a 4-day safari going through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro and was quite a unique experience.
We flew from Zanzibar and Davis helped us with adjusting the safari to our desires.
We were guided most of the days with by Geovanni, that took care of us on every step of the way. Very experienced driver, with great knowledge of the area. Very communicative and respectful, very attentive to our needs. We got some rough patches, but he always maage to bring us safe and sound to out destinations.
We could make all the way, check all the big, medium and small animals and learn about many of them. Also, some of the local cultures and traditions, like with the Masai tribes.
Overall, really recommended and already thinking on when we should be back!

The best we could ask for!
Davis and his King Mufasa Expeditions organized the best 4 days ever for me and my girlfriend. Everything was perfect, on time and we always felt safe. Our guide driver Assad was great, he knew everything, every animals, every bird, he taught a lot of things, perfect english too. We saw all the big five plus a lots of other great experiences
