Prompt, knowledgeable, organized
We were looking for a company through which we would book our African holiday. Contemplated some Australian and African travel agents but wanted someone who could not just sell us a package but someone who really knew where to go, what to do and how to do it properly. We Googled and up came Untamed Safaris, checked the reviews and there was nothing but very positive comments. We felt comfortable we were dealing with an Australian company and not just an unknown ( to us ) African company.
We contacted Ryan and found him to very knowledgeable, was always prompt with his responses and also had various itineraries to contemplate. We also thought his pricing was very reasonable especially as we requested quality private game park accommodation, safaris and tours. We were not disappointed, he was certainly across our requirements and only had praise for his selections.
We resulted in visiting South Africa, Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Chobe National Park Botswana, all worth visiting.
Another thing we really liked was he organized all transfers, airport to accommodation, vice a vera, pickups for game parks and so on. It took out any stress having to determine if the taxi company we chose was safe and going to get us there.
Overall everything ran like clockwork, no hiccups, no delays including all flights which he booked. We were impressed.
We could only recommend Ryan and his small team, Africa was great and if we go again would book through Untamed Safaris.

Perfect planning, prefect support
The team prepared a custom safari across 3 weeks travelling Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa. Their service and communication during the planning process was excellent with Ryan happy to answer all my questions and make adjustments so I was happy. The trip itself went off without a hitch due to the detailed attention. Post trip service was second to none with the team following up on things promptly. I cannot recommend Untamed Safaris enough! The trip of a lifetime made all the better because of the teams planning.

Everything was as described and the travel arrangements worked seamlessly.
After arriving in South Africa, our tour commenced in Karongwe at Beck's Safari Lodge. The lodge was situated on a river bank and well maintained. Animals were present at all times. The game drives were extensive and carried out conscientiously, enabling the sighting of the "Big Five" and many, many more. Catering was good although BBQ's on two out of four nights was a cop-out for the caterers. We then traveled to Cape Town staying at the Portswood Hotel. The hotel was located in the Port area, an easy walk to the restaurant areas at the port. A tour to the Western Cape was included in our package and proved to be a highlight. We then traveled to Zimbabwe for the Victoria Falls, staying at Pioneers which was excellent with the best catering we encountered in Africa. From there we traveled to Chobe River Namibia, staying at Savanna Lodge.
The lodge facilities were excellent although the catering was below expectations. Game drives by river boat were excellent enabling close encounters with elephants, hippos, crocodiles, baboons and many animal and bird species.
Ryan Kendall of Untamed Safaris organised our trip and excelled in all aspects of the booking.

Very obliging and knowledgeable
We went for almost 4 weeks mainly to South Africa plus Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe plus the Chobe River in Namibia.
We had a great time and saw Cape Town, Cape of Good Hope, Johannesburg, had 5 days on the Walkers Plains Camp and saw the Big Five, Spent three days on the Chobe River Savannah camp exploring the river in a Tinny amongst all the elephants, hippos and saw a number of prides of lions.
Ryan also organised for the ROVOS train trip from Pretoria to Cape Town, what an experience, something out of the 1920's !!
Unfortunately the huge rains in the Cape washed out the last part of the rail tracks before Cape Town but no one can control Mother Nature.
Without exception all of the accommodation we had was fantastic, all of the transfers simply just happened on time every time and the whole holiday went off without a hitch.
An amazing feat doing it from the other side of the world.
We were very happy with everything and would highly recommend Ryan Kendall and Untamed Safaris to anyone.

Helpful and efficient
Ryan from untamedsafaris.com.au has been very helpful and easy to work with during the organisation and even during the trip itself.
The trip was amazing, Kenya and Tanzania were wonderful places to visit . We saw the big 5 in the first few days and each day we saw something new and exciting.
Everything worked as planned and Ryan checked in to see how we we were.

Fantastic booking experience!!
I came across Untamed Safaris via a FB ad while researching how to best go about planning our maiden safari somewhere in Africa. After contacting them, I was super impressed with the level of communication, care factor and overall service commitment by Ryan from Untamed Safaris. It was super easy to discuss with Ryan what we were after and very quickly we had tailored an itinerary that was loosely based on an existing route in South Africa. Ryan was always reachable via sms, email or a quick phone call. After going through tons of other safari routes/tours and operators we strongly felt that we received a very competitive offer and a value for money trip.
We just returned a few days ago and the trip itself was nothing but breathtaking. Every single leg was an amazing experience. The lodging. The game drives. Lots of life-lasting memories made!! We already mentioned to Ryan that if we ever go
To Africa again he will be our

Speedy response and high level of support and professionalism
Our decision to go on safari was rather last minute. We approached several operators for quotes and further information and Ryan was the first to respond and was really helpful. This speed of response and level of support continued up to and throughout the trip. It was nice to know that he was there for us if needed.
The holiday itself was amazing - the trip of a lifetime. So many amazing sights and experiences. All the arrangements went smoothly and our tour guides were great, really knowledgeable.
It we go to Africa again we will definitely contact Ryan to make the arrangements for us.
