The best experience of my life, outstanding!
The Agent was very helpful when booking, even though I left it until the day before our safari to book our needs were met in every way. We were picked up from our hotel in Zanzibar, flew to Arusha and was met by Boris and our Guide Richard to start our adventure. Richard was an amazing, very knowledgeable about all the animals we encounted. We stayed the night in an amazing camping lodge, then started another safari the following day, starting with a sunrise balloon ride, which was spellbinding. We see many many animals. Richard then dropped us to the airport, where we flew back to Zanzibar, was met by a taxi the other end and back to our hotel to finish our holiday.
The whole experience was perfect. I was celebrating my 50th Birthday, Akonda Safari arranged a beautiful celebration with cake for me also. I can not thank them enough for such an amazing trip of a life time.
Richard our guide educated us so much by sharing his knowledge of the African bush. I will never forget this experience and highly recommend them to others in the future
Absolute Excellence
We booked a 3 day/2 night package with Akondo Adventures from Zanzibar.
Given the short notice we gave for our booking, we were extremely impressed with Boris' communication, quick responses to our enquiries with clear and precise information. During the course of our tour, Boris kept in contact making follow ups on us as well.
We had a great guide Ayoub who shared his passion for wildlife with us and we learnt a lot from him about the local people, the parks we visited (Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Manyara). We also loved that we had an exclusive tour.
We enjoyed all the Parks we visited but the Tarangire Park and Ngorongoro were the best.
Our accommodation, Heart and Soul, was a good spot, we loved it. The staff were welcoming, we enjoyed the meals, the room was neat, great shower, the bed mattress could have been a little more thicker.
Because we were celebrating our 1st year anniversary ( which we communicated with Boris) Our room was set up with a suiting theme on arrival and the staff sang for us on our first night dinner and we were surprised with a cake they made for us.
We had a pleasure to meet Boris and his Akondo team at their offices in Arusha after our last safari.
It was a special moment for us, after having had 3 days of safari, to meet the team that made our experience in Tanzania a memorable one and to hear the story of their journey.
Lastly before we were taken to the airport for our flight back to Zanzibar and while this may have not been part of the normal tour routine. Our guide took us to a local food spot in Arusha where we had a taste of their local meal nyama choma naugali which is polenta and BBQ meat. It was special to us as we love to try local meals everywhere we travel to.
I will book with Akondo again, great service indeed. Thank you Boris and your team.

Helpful friendly tour operator
Boring arranged for our 3 day safari at Nyerere National Park. He planned a boat safari, a game drive, a bush walk and a Masai village visit and arranged transportation, hotels and meals from Dar es Salaam. We had English speaking guides throughout the trip and he even arranged a private fireside dinner for us on the second night. We highly recommend Akondo Adventures.

Great communication!
We went on a 3-day safari tour of the Tarangire, Ngorongoro crater and Lake Manyara parks travelling from Zanzibar. It was an amazing experience. Boris made the communication process very smooth so that we knew at all times where to go and what to do. Can highly recommend!
10/10 for the elephants
Me and my two friends decided to visit Tanzania. We wanted to go on safari to see the elephants and other wild animals. :)
It was our dream for a long time. In June 2024 we finally arrived in Tanzania. In Arusha the team of Akondo Adventures picked us up and our journey started. We went together to Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We saw a lot of wild animals and beautiful landscapes. Our highlight was to see the elephants in their natural habitat. We recommend a safari with Akondo Adventures. It was a pleasure for us and we're sure it wasn't the last time, we visited beautiful Tanzania.

Impressive animals and the Best guide: Bwana
We had 3 days, 2 Night Safari in tarangire, Lake manyara and Ngorongoro with our guide Bwana.
Everything was really Nice and Bwana was a very professionel and friendly guide, and very good at seeing the animals. He is a excellent driver as Well. Overall and amazing experience

great safari experience
Our group of friends had an unforgettable safari experience. Our guide Mbwana knew every possible road through the vast Serengeti and knew where to take us to make sure we saw every type of animals there in the park. The camps in the bush were all quite good with tasty food and basic but good facilities. Every day was an adventure. We had two small children in our group and Francis paid special care to make sure they were comfortable and happy. Our trip could not have gone better and we highly recommend this tour company and especially our guide Mbwana.

They’re perfect
For a vacation that should feel like a "once in a lifetime" trip, this certainly lived up to the name. We can't thank Boris with Akondo Adventures enough for their dedication and attention to detail! From our first conversations through the trip itself, talking with Boris felt like speaking with a familiar friend. With planning, all of his recommendations were excellent, and the entire experience was magical. We went back and forth between different experiences and lodges, and Boris was accommodating to all of our questions until we had the perfect trip booked. We felt like we had 3 totally different vacations all rolled into one, and the level of service along the way was unparalleled. Between the lodgings, the locations, the food, the adventure, and the amount of time recommended for each portion of the trip, we really felt like Boris somehow put together everything that we didn't quite know how to articulate about what we would hope to see in a honeymoon, and translated it all into the perfect trip. Dear travellers and everyone who wants to become one!
In June 2024 I fullfilled my dream and travelled to Tanzania. Akondo Adventures made it very easy and comfortable for me to start the journey from Germany to Tanzania. Very excited I started to the new country. From Frankfurt I flew to Arusha. Boris, the founder of Akondo Adventures, picked me up at the airport and brought me to my hotel. After one day relaxing and enjoying the traditional food of Tanzania I went to Arusha Nationalpark for safari. It was an adventure of a lifetime! I saw a lot of animal in their natural habitat. It was very impressing! The guide, his name was Bwana, knows the Arusha Nationalpark very well and knows where you can find even the rare black and white colobus monkeys. But my highlight were a group of giraffes who had a small baby with them. It was just two to three months old, Bwana told me. We had a tasty lunch with a view over the lake Momella.
All in all I thank Akondo Adventures and specially Boris to make my dream come true. I won’t forget the time in Tanzania and I miss the peaceful and wonderful nature there.
