Amazing
We had an incredible 2-day safari in Mikumi National Park with an overnight at Camp Bastian.
Thanks to Mtila Safaris we saw all the animals we were hoping for and everything was perfectly organized.

Ibrahim was a very good guide for me and my girls.
Our safari to Selouse and Mikumi was excellent. The service we got was very good and we had professional photographers on the trip and he took very good photos on the animals free of charge. My kids and me loved to 100% and will use Ibrahim again next time. It was my second time I did safari with him, he is very knowledgeable. He arranged very accommodation for us. The whole trip was excellent.

Wonderful Cheap private tour with very experienced operator
It was a very nice experience. We were picked up at the ferry from mafia island at no extra cost. Very experienced, friendly and nice tour operator. We slept directly next to the river close to national park entrance were u were able to see hippos sunset and crocos. Room had everything food was nice and it was a small lodge. Sunset cruise was really nice and took 3h.
The day visit was great and we are most of the time alone with no other cars. Even saw a leopard.
Just the walking safari at the next day was a joke. The “bushmen” was just a tourist attraction. No animals or other stuff. Only bad jokes. Don’t do the walking safari.

Perfect Safari Experience in Mikumi National Park – total Recommended!
We had an absolutely amazing tour in Mikumi National Park – everything was 1A from start to finish. The organization was smooth, the timing was perfect, and the whole experience felt very well planned.
We were incredibly lucky with the wildlife. We managed to see almost everything you could hope for – elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo… basically all the highlights except for leopards. Still, it exceeded our expectations by far.
A special shoutout to our guide, Mtila. He was fantastic – very knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. He always knew where to go and made sure we had the best possible sightings. Even when some bridges in the park had unfortunately been destroyed by flooding, he quickly found a great alternative route so we could still enjoy the experience without any issues.
One thing to be aware of: the drive from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi was surprisingly long. We hadn’t really expected that, so it’s something to keep in mind when planning.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we would definitely book it again exactly the same way. Highly recommended! Thanks, Ibra;) and regards from Germany

In March, we booked a 3-day safari in Mikumi with MTILA Safari. It was an excellent choice; our guide was very reliable. Despite the rainy season and the challenging conditions, his experience allowed him to safely and respectfully guide us close to the animals and the landscape.

We drove from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park, with the journey taking about 6 hours each way, making it 12 hours of travel in total. The park itself was breathtaking, and we were lucky enough to see lions, zebras, elephants, giraffes, and even snakes. Our guide was truly exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife, making the experience unforgettable. The tour lasted a full 24 hours, with everything included in the price, from the safari to the amazing meals at a lovely restaurant. It was an unforgettable adventure, and I highly recommend it.
