John – The best safari guide you could wish for!
We were incredibly fortunate to have John as our guide for our 4-day safari during our honeymoon in Tanzania. From the very beginning, John was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always made sure to fulfill all of our wishes. He was very experienced and could always provide us with exciting and detailed information about the wildlife and nature. Thanks to his expertise, we had unforgettable moments – from hunting scenes to relaxed animal herds in their natural environment. We were particularly impressed by the many young animals we were able to observe up close.
John not only managed to show us all the beauty of the wilderness but also made sure we had a lot of fun and shared many enjoyable moments together. Our lunches in the middle of the wilderness were true highlights!
We can warmly recommend John – he made our safari an unforgettable experience!

After initial consultation John put together a preliminary safari plan. Very little adjustments were needed to the plan as John had listened carefully during consultation and was able to manifest my safari dreams into reality.

We visited in 3 Safari resorts.
Although we didn’t have the chance to see “Killing” we saw the wildness at it’s best.
Most lodges were good same as value for money

Had a great time!!
Traveled with John Malley in several reserves around Tanzania. John was great - set up for us the whole trip, exactly as we wanted it. Was very knowledgeable and professional and, of course, very good company.
He also took care of everything if there were problems with the car, etc.
And - a great spotter! Always found the most interesting things to see.

We have traveled to many countries in Africa as a family but John was the best guide we ever had. He has masterfully understood how to respond to all wishes and with his experience and organizational talent, it has become an individual journey beyond the mainstream. His expertise, his calmness in tense situations and his humor delighted us. He always knew the best scenic spots and often correctly predicted the behavior of the animals so that we took home incomparable experiences and photos from Tanzania. In many great conversations we also learned a lot about the country and its people. Despite his professionalism, John has remained a great guy you can always rely on. If necessary: John also speaks very good German. We will gladly come back to Tanzania and I am sure that John and his team will organize and implement another unforgettable trip for us.

The most caring, loyal, knowledgeable person who became a good friend in a short amount of time.
This trip was the most fun, life changing experience I ever had. I was very nervous going into this trip not knowing what to expect, but I'm so glad I didn't let my fears stop me from going on the trip. I got to see so many lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, Buffalo, etc. We even were able to find some rhino, a leapers and a cheetah! One of my all time favorite parts was eating dinner with our guide John every night. Hearing his stories and learning about him and his family was so fun and while we heard that usually guests don't eat with their guide, I wouldn't trade that time with John for the world. We got to spend a lot of time with him over the week we were there and I am so blessed that I can now call him a friend. He took such good care of my family and I and made sure we got everything we wanted and more out of our trip. Whenever I talk about this trip and hear people say they always have wanted to do a safari, I always tell them about John and Wilderness Insights Safaris.

the perfect hollyday
John,our tour guide picked us up at the first lodge and we touched into another world .
Unforgetable days in the bush, perfect lodges, food and many animals . We learnt a lot about african animals from him because of his exellent german language and saftey driving on the tracks
