The most amazing Uganda tour possible.
This was one of the most amazing experiences in my life. Wagtail safaris organized every detail of our entire trip perfectly. Not one thing went wrong. All was very well planned and perfectly executed. Our trip was super complete and we got to see some beautiful places, animals and plants. Communication was perfect, Martin was the best guide ever and he truly became a good friend! He was very professional and he took care of every detail carefuly while also explaining everything and knowing the answers to all our (many) questions. Trip of a life time
We just returned from our unforgettable honeymoon in Uganda, and what an incredible journey it was! From action-packed days spent meeting gorillas to encountering the Big Five up close, every moment was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
We chose to book our tour with Martin, who came highly recommended, and he certainly lived up to the praise. The entire process was a breeze, thanks to his professionalism in planning and communication from the very beginning. By the time we arrived, everything was seamlessly executed, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our trip.
One aspect we particularly appreciated was Martin's flexibility with our itinerary; we found ourselves falling in love with certain stops and he was more than accommodating.
Also Getting to know Martin and learning about Uganda through his wealth of knowledge made our trip even more special.

Unforgettable Experience!
We had the pleasure of touring Uganda with Martin from Wagatil Safaris in March and what an amazing trip it was!
From the very beginning, communication was great- we were able to make a custom trip and our countless questions were answered in a timely manner. Great suggestions were made regarding our itinerary and making the most of our time in Uganda.
Trekking to the gorillas is truly an extraordinary experience and a must do!

Amazing and unique experience you must sample once in your lifetime
Where do I start, within 48 hours we had seen Lions, Leopards, Giraffes, Elephants and Hippos then a chimpanzee trek and a visit to a local school - wow what a unique 15 days

I just came back from a fantastic 2 day Gorilla trekking in Bwindi with Wagatil: it absolutely surpassed any of my expectations!! Thanks to the talented guiding of Gavis (aka the Rock), who is not only an excellent driver and gifted nature guide, but also adds up Ugandan spice and unbelievable "joi de vivre", we experienced a fabulous tour of which the not-to-miss mountain gorillas are only one of the highlights. In this gorgeous natural environment, there is also room for flexibility, spontaneity and cultural exchange which makes this experience even more profoundly touching. The whole Wagatil team (Gavis, Martin, Pretty, ..) stole my heart! I would really highly recommend them for any Ugandan/Rwandan adventure. Regards, Peter (Belgium)

Excellent trip all around
We went to the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park with my sister for a day trip from Kigali. Alex was the best driver we have ever had on a tour. He drove patiently and safely, he was very helpful, professional and friendly. The guides at the trek were also knowledgeable, and made experience as amazing as we'd imagined it would be. The national park is situated in a breathtaking part of Uganda, where you also get to see parts of the country where you may not have a chance to go otherwise. I would absolutely recommend this trip to everyone.

Amazing experience on a day trip of gorilla trekking with Wagatil! Martin was very friendly, attentive, helpful and organised, he always here to listen to my needs, answering my questions and helping me to find solutions to see gorilla and visa in short period of time. The whole process was very smooth.
Drivers were awesome and skilful especially driving in foggy conditions and hilly off road. They were very kind, helped me to take photos and videos to capture special moments, also managed to squeeze in the Batwa community as time allowed even it was a long day for them! Making sure that I had a good experience which i did very much!
Lunch was also provided! Food was delicious!
I am very thankful that i chose to join this tour organised by Wagatil (Martin) and the whole team! It was my best experience in East Africa. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

Absolutely amazing tour operator!
An unforgettable experience visiting Uganda and the once in a lifetime opportunity to spend time the Mountain Gorillas.
Martin was an exceptional guide. We chose Wagatil Safaris for their outstanding customer service and flexibility.
We contacted four operators. Martin responded first, set up a WhatsApp chat and provided a detailed itinerary that was tailored to our interests.
On meeting Martin in Kigali, I knew we were in safe hands. He made us feel immediately welcome.
Martin knows everyone! He made our trip so easy, even with some health issues experienced along the way. He was so kind and empathetic.
Martin gave great advice. He wasn’t looking to upsell to more expensive accommodation and activities. He listened and tailored our trip accordingly.
For future travelers, if time and budget allows, stay for two nights. Our stay at the Birds Nest Resort after our Gorilla trek was magical. We loved the lakeside location, facilities and activities like a boat trip around Lake Bunyonyi. We also loved Bweza Gorilla Lodge.
We will never forget our time in Uganda. It was made extra special thanks to Martin and his team at Wagatil Safaris. Don’t go with any other guides!
