Wild Uganda delivers authentic, well-organized safaris with expert guides
5/5

We traveled with Wild Uganda for 12 days in August on a very complete itinerary: Mabamba Swamp for the shoebill, Ziwa Sanctuary, Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth NP, chimpanzee trekking, Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation and a boat trip, Bwindi Forest for the gorillas, and finally Lake Mburo NP with a walking safari.

The organization was clear and flexible: they handled last-minute changes to my program without any issues, even just a few days before departure. Our guide was excellent – highly knowledgeable, attentive, and able to manage unexpected situations professionally (I’m very demanding, and he exceeded my expectations).

The lodges were exactly in line with the agreed budget and always well chosen. A special mention for the jeep: sturdy and reliable, a huge advantage compared to the minivans used by other agencies, which often get stuck in the mud.

The value for money is among the best I’ve found. I would definitely recommend Wild Uganda to anyone looking for an authentic and well

Highly, highly recommended!
5/5

From start to finish, our safari in Uganda with Wild Uganda was nothing short of extraordinary. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the experiences we had will stay with us forever.
Words can’t fully capture the awe of coming face-to-face with a silverback and his family in their natural habitat. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and respectful of the environment, making the experience both educational and profoundly moving. A surprising and delightful part of our journey was the vanilla farm tour in Kibale. It offered a different kind of insight—into Uganda’s agricultural heritage. The hands-on experience of learning how vanilla is cultivated and processed was fascinating, and we left with a newfound appreciation for the spice and the people behind it.
We also visited the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, which was another unforgettable experience.
If you're considering a safari in Uganda, look no further. This company delivers an authentic, safe, and utterly inspiring adventure. Highly, highly recommended!

Uganda is one of the most beautiful places on earth - especially for nature and wildlife lovers. But getting around can be tricky.

Wild Uganda made this trip possible, smooth, comfortable and complete. I saw all wildlife I wanted to see and covered all areas I wanted to visit.

I highly recommend Wild Uganda for anyone interested in visiting Uganda.

Thank you Wild Uganda and Brian!
5/5

My partner and I traveled Rwanda and Uganda with Wild Uganda, and our guide/ driver Brian was amazing. He picked us up from the airport on day one and dropped us off at the end, with no stress on either end. He quickly helped us through lodge check-ins, getting to/ from airports, and getting across the Rwanda-Uganda border. Having all of those things handled while abroad was immensely helpful.

Brian’s knowledge of the wildlife and landscape was exceptional and really added to the trip. On a driving safari, he spotted animals that no other guides around us caught— including leopards, which are notoriously difficult to find. He was equally knowledgeable when it came to our own questions, offering answers and facts to about anything we saw.

Wild Uganda helped us customize our trip entirely, which we loved. Brian also helped us shift things day-of as plans changed. If a trek wrapped early or Brian thought there was something nearby worth seeing, the plan would simply adjust. That kind of flexibility made the trip feel much more like our own exploration than a pre-packaged tour.

Brian was also a great driver, the car was always clean, and he always had fresh water ready. The whole trip made us excited to return to Uganda and we can’t recommend Brian enough. Thank you!

The Greatest Adventure
5/5

This was the adventure of a lifetime! Wild Uganda amazed us in so many ways.

I emailed many operators when we started planning our Uganda and Rwanda trip. From the first message I was struck by Wild Uganda’s professionalism, dependability, and value. I corresponded with Ernest who had a deep knowledge and helped us craft a custom itinerary that checked everything on our list. We wanted to see a lot of gorillas and chimps while also getting a taste of the savannah. This was offered at a very attractive price and we locked it in.

We were met at the airport by our guide Brian and over the course of 9 days and 1200km we got to know him and his country, Uganda. Brian was a highlight of the trip - not only did he take care of all the details for us day-to-day, he was a wonderful ambassador of Ugandan culture and we felt like we learned so much from him. He also arranged an extra banana gin tasting experience that hadn’t been on the itinerary. And also his knowledge of the different gorilla families helped us get into a trekking group that saw a gorilla family with a ton of babies - our favorite! Another highlight - Brian spotted some antelopes in the distance that were all looking in one direction - we went to investigate and saw two leopards stalking them!!

The trekking itself was beyond awesome. Cutting through the rainforest with machetes we felt like explorers of old. We were left speechless by the power of the mighty silverbacks and felt such a connection to the families with babies wrestling and beating their chests. It was the coolest experience imaginable.

Upon arriving home I started recommending Wild Uganda to family, friends, and anyone else who would listen to me!

We just did a tour with Shafik and Matiya and it was incredible. The most well organized trip I’ve experienced in Africa. The cars were comfortable and always clean. The guides were accommodating and extremely knowledgeable and helpful, they’re more than tour guides, they’re lifelong friends now. I would highly recommend traveling with them. Simply the best.

Amazing and best experience with Shafik Topkins
5/5

We had the best experience with Wild Uganda Shafik Topkins and Mathias were our group drivers and travelled with us to different cities and took care of our belongings and rearranged some of the program to make the trip easier on us so we can relax and chill in between our program and activities. They were going above and beyond to make sure everyone is doing well, comfortable and having fun ❤️🙏 Thanks to them and we will always recommend Wild Uganda to all our friends.

My friend and I had a great day!
We went to Mabamba swamps to look for the famous shoebill.

Everything went smoothly and Innocent our tour guide) didn't want to give up on showing us the bird, even though it was getting late.
We succeeded!
It was a great experience 🥰👍🏻
We are very grateful and very happy ☺️

Absolutely wonderful
5/5

Wow -we had an amazing trip that exceeded all of our expectations. Kasim is a rock-star and we so appreciated his knowledge, flexibility, expertise and sense of humor!
The gorilla experience and the walking safari were highlights in a trip where every day was spectacular. Watching a mother leopard trying get her cub to cross the road right in front of us was so special. Sitting with an elephant family while the baby ran about, flapped her ears and played brought tears to my eyes.

I can’t stress how much we loved our trip. Everything went like clockwork and we were pampered and cared for. A wonderful value for the money. Our guide, Kasim made magic happen! Thank you so much.
