Failed to Deliver what was Promised
I highly recommend not using Pega Tours. They take no pride in making your experience memorable. The driver was 3 hours late picking me up and then proceeded to rush me through the whole experience. (Even after the trip I waited an hour and a half to get picked up for Nakuru) After speaking with management about my problems, they proceeded to tell me I should have received 15 hours inside the park, but I was only in there for less than 10 hours. The boss refused to apologize and offered no compensation because the other customer "had no problems". He then lied to me that he wasn't the boss and the boss was "on holiday" even though he was right there in the room. Pega could care less about customer satisfaction; therefore I do not recommend!

unforgetable 5days Masai Mara and Amboseli national park
The journey started where we were picked up in Nairobi very early in the morning at no extra cost. The guide ensured that we had an evening game drive in Masai Mara and we spotted lots of lions, elephants and even baby lions. The next day we were given an all nutrient rich packed lunch as we spent the whole day in the park, visited the Masai village and there was lots of entertainment including bonfire in the evening.
Amboseli national park was the place where we spotted the biggest elephants ever.
Thank you to Pega Tours and Travel Agency for this unforgettable experience.

Wonderful adventure
We are very grateful to Pega Tours for the trip of our dreams. Together with Peter, we created an itinerary that was perfect for us in both duration and cost.
We spent 5 days with our wonderful driver and guide, Denis, including 4 days of safari. We visited Nakuru National Park, Hell’s Gate, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara, and Amboseli. We arrived at the national parks early in the morning, when the animals are active, and left around 4 p.m. Thanks to Denis’s experience, professionalism, and proactive approach, we were able to see all the animals, and more than once. We really wanted to see flamingos, but we had read that they had left Lake Nakuru, so they were not supposed to be on our route. But we were lucky to see them in huge numbers on a lake in Amboseli — an entire part of the shore was completely pink because of the birds.
Traveling with Denis is very comfortable; with him, you feel safe. In the national parks, he helped us with paying entrance fees, told us about the animals, and during the safari he never rushed us — we could watch and take pictures of the animals for as long as we wanted. Thank you, Pega Tours, for helping us to see Africa, enjoy the wildlife, and think as little as possible about organizational details.

Greatest safari ever!
Maasai Mara safari Nov 24-27
It was awesome how many of the over 30 species and thousands of animals we were able to see in action, especially lions, giraffes, cheetah, elephants, buffalos, hippos! This was very much thanks to our experienced safari guide John🙏🏻
In our magic tent camp Kebo Mara, hidden in the wild nature, we met zeebras, gazelles, buffalos and giraffes, graciously doing their own thing just some meters from us.
Our 2nd wedding anniversary was celebrated with surprise Maasai dancing and singing by the whole (male) staff, and a heart-shaped cake served for everyone🥰 Meals by Chef Steven were all excellent!
Of course the drives were bumpy and dusty, as was to be expected. What we remained wondering is the amount of safari vehicles that is allowed to surround one individual animal or a group of them; don’t the animals get very stressed??
One minus for the Pegatour’s office was that they hadn’t given any relevant info of the new tent camp neither to us nor to their own guide. Kobe Mara tent camp (5 tents and the main house) was anyhow as such a wonderful experience with their utmost hospitality!
Thanks to John, Sami and his team👏👏👏

Family
Our experience with Pega Tours was absolutely fantastic. We accidentally found some short review in the internet concerning using the services of this agency. After it I wrote to Pega Tours and started communicating with the owner - Peter. We have discussed more than a dozen of different options for our perfect trip and finally confirmed all the details. The price policy of Pega Tours is quite flexible and I am grateful to the agency for personal approach to my wish. What is more - we did not need to pay in advance. It was a private tour - just me and my wife and nobody else - the whole car was for us.
Our guide - Dennis - the son of the owner - met us at the airport really early at 4 am and we went immediately to game drive. From that moment our unique adventure has started.
Our route was quite intensive and extremely fascinating: Nakuru National Park-Hell’s Gate-Naivasha Lake-Masai Mara-Amboseli
Each moment was well organised. Dennis answered all our questions, was very gentle and friendly so that at the end of our trip we felt sad to say him goodbye. What is the most important - we managed to see all animals with help of Dennis. It seemed to us that he had some unique sense and ability to find all kind of animals out of nowhere. More than big 5 was seen. We were especially impressed by the huge herd of giraffes and elephants. The best part is how Dennis managed to find hundreds of pink flamingos in Amboseli - it was a perfect way to end our trip.
Thank you very much, Pega Tours. We strongly recommend this agency - Peter will create a perfect journey for you for a very good price and will make this experience unforgettable. His son - Dennis - will make this trip smooth and fascinating so that you will remember it forever.

Misleading promises, poor service, and no accountability
This company is highly unreliable and dishonest.
Before booking, they assured me the great migration was still happening and that I’d definitely see it. That promise convinced me to join their tour. In reality, there was no migration—just a distant view of a few hippos and crocodiles, without even going down to the riverbank.
They also promised binoculars, but there were none, only the guide’s personal pair shared among all guests. The itinerary claimed three full days, but on the “third day” we left at 8 a.m.—hardly a full day.
Worst of all, once they got my payment, they stopped replying to my messages.
Safaris aren’t cheap, and this should have been unforgettable. Instead, it was misleading and disappointing. If you want honesty and reliability, choose another operator. This company also makes no real effort to resolve problems.

Be careful! They tried to cheat us!
Our experience with Pega tours was terrible! We booked two safaris with them ( Hell's gate and Nakuru). We made the deal with Peter, and he charged us 200$ each for the driver and guide in Nakuru and another 150$ each for driving us to Hell's gate and hire a guide in there. The entrance fees and the bike rental were on us.
At Nakuru everything went all right , but when we arrived to Hell's gate they told us we had to pay for the guide. We called Peter and we explained him that we paid 200$ to him for the driving to Hell's gate but also for having a guide in there, and he just hung up the phone to us after saying the 200$ were just for the transportation. Even the guides from Hell's gate were shocked for what he was doing !!! Eventually, our driver, who was great, managed to talk to him and convince him to pay the guide, because we were already talking about coming back to Nakuru.
So my advice is: do not hire anything with them, or at least with Peter! He'll try to do the same

They did not deliver what was promised
They did not deliver what was promisedI emailed the company prior to arriving at nakuru to get a price for 2 people to hire a safari van and driver to visit nakuru national park. I was told 10,200KES as per the website was correct plus 3000kesfor the driver. When booking we were told the van would be for just the 2 of us and would be a 6:30am-6:30pm full day game drive. The driver collected us at 7:30 an hour later than agreed and there was already 2 other passengers in the van. We were told we could have 1000kes discount on our price per person but then this was retracted. The game driver was finished by lunch time and we were back at out villa for 2:30pm. Huge disappointment as we didnt get to see all the animals and how they behave during different times of the day. My advice is avoid this company at all costs. They were dishonest, unreliable, overpriced, under delivered on our tour ! Poor customer service only interested in your money!!!!

"Unforgettable Family Adventure"
Our August 2025 safari with Pega Tours & Travel was a dream come true. As a mother, I wanted our family to experience something truly special—and Lamara delivered beyond expectations! Watching thousands of wildebeest thunder across the Mara River was like stepping into a National Geographic documentary. Jambo Mara Camp was cozy, clean, and surrounded by wildlife—it felt surreal. Lake Nakuru offered a calmer charm, with flamingos dancing across the lake and rare rhinos wandering peacefully. The Sarova Woodlands Hotel was stylish and relaxing, the perfect way to end our trip. Everything—from transfers to meals—was well-coordinated. Vincent and the Pega Tours team treated us like royalty. I’ll treasure these moments forever.
