Golden Safaris was very reactive when answering our requests, understood them precisely and knew what was to be done. They were also proactively on the look-out for better deals for us, which was much appreciated, and helped us save a lot of money.
Wonderful from start to finish
We did a combo of gorillas in Congo, and then chimps and safari in Rwanda. Every aspect of the travel was planned well and everything was very easy to manage. Our guide was wonderful and knew a tremendous amount about both the wildlife, and the country itself. His knowledge and friendliness made this a great trip.

Great day all round!
We had a fabulous safari in Akagera with Jean Claude. We felt like VIPs having a guide to ourselves, and he took care of us very well with regular comfort breaks and an excellent breakfast and lunch. Jean Claude kept in contact with other guides to help locate the animals which meant our safari was incredibly successful and we took some fantastic pictures and videos. He was also very friendly and knowledgable. We thoroughly recommend Golden Rwanda Safaris

A perfect trip
I am blown away by Golden Rwanda Safaris. From the moment I first contacted them the service and professionalism were amazing. I initially was going to do Rwanda only, then decided I wanted to include Kenya. Frank created a perfect custom itinerary for what I wanted. Throughout the process, Frank always responded quickly and answered any questions. All of the accommodations in Rwanda and Kenya were excellent. Throughout the trip things were adjusted and customized to exactly what I wanted. Tafeque, my guide in Rwanda, was fantastic. In Kenya, I was with a partner company, African Hartebeest, and the service was just as good. Beverly was my point of contact with them. She was just as helpful and responsive as Frank. My guide in Kenya, Edwin, was also phenomenal. I will surely be back at some point in the coming years and have already recommended to friends and families to use Golden Rwanda.

The safari was memorable, but the animals were few and far between, making sightings difficult, so I wouldn’t do it again. However, our driver Sharif was exceptionally gentle, helpful, friendly, and welcoming.

We had an amazing safari experience with Golden Rwanda Safaris. It was a long 10-day trip with Kigali, chimpanzees, the gorilla track and Akagera NP. Our guide was Emile - a very knowledgeable guy,he did his best to get the best experince. We had a great time with him. Great service, very professional and accommodating

My tour guide Mugishe ensured that I had a smooth journey and that I had everything I needed along the way. I had an amazing time with gorillas, golden monkeys and in volcanoes national park. I (36 year old female from the US) had a great solo trip to Rwanda with Abu as my guide. On the booking side, Frank was professional, knowledgeable, and prompt in assisting me with proposing itineraries and helping me book my gorilla trekking and golden monkey safari. Prices were significantly lower than what I had been quoted elsewhere for the same itinerary using the same hotel. They organized my stay at the 5 Volcanos Boutique Hotel and my stay was very comfortable and the food was great. Abu was a knowledgeable and personable guide and I enjoyed his company for my 5 day trip. During the whole trip, I completely trusted my guide and outfitter and felt completely safe and looked after. My overall experience was fantastic and I would happily book future travels with them again!
