Beautiful park, although small and with limited wildlife, plenty of hippos and elephants though.

I would visit South Luangwa Park in Zambia before returning back to Chobe because it is so much more rural and bush, but Chobe was beautiful

Stunning and beautiful, limited for wildlife, you may see an Oryx, an Ostrich or some antelope, but very luck to see anything else. The incredible landscape makes up for the lack of wildlife.

Review about South Africa by Machiel
South Africa is good for wildlife but in Africa their are more places which are even better. South afric ais a big country with also a lot of culture and wildlife is only a part of it.

Wonderful scenery!
Etosha is a scenic and unique wildlife destination, very different to other parks with little greenery, but beautiful in its own right. There is an abundance of wildlife although the Big Cats are not as common as in other African National Parks. The camps and lodges are all of a good standard and although there are a lot of self drivers it is still very easy to feel like you are on your own in the vastness of the park. Great and highly recommended destination.

Quick tour in the Arusha National Park...
Had an excellent day-trip in the National Park close to Arusha with a guide and and a characteristic Land Cruiser! Got picked-up by the driver in the morning and after a quick stop in Arusha we went to the National Park. It is a perfect park for a full-day activity with changing scenery and lots of things to see. Don't miss out on the giraffes (though I don't think it is possible to...), the fig tree, the lakes and what ever you do; don't miss the opportunity to hike in the park. If you ask me, there is no safari like a safari on foot! On our hike we had our guide/chauffeur from the Hazina Africa (who was really cunning and knowledgeable), an aspiring guide (he too was excellent) and lastly we had an armed park ranger for safety!
All in all: a great, trustworthy company with solid guides and a fantastic park that gives you great value for your money!

Great wildlife experience but disliked the fact that safaris may even be done with big busses through the park

Plenty of water and animals of all kind... there is a surprise in every corner and you never know when you'll find an elephant in just a few meters from you!
