Loads of elephants, giraffes, chhetas, and many more. The landscape beautifully varies.

So many red elephants! They seem to be thriving as there were many small ones. A lone lioness and the wide swept savanna were highlights.

Along with the Mara, Tsavo West is one of my favorites. The red dirt landscape is just incredible. Beautiful animals, stunning views and great accommodations. Holds a special place in my heart. I would highly recommend it.

Without a doubt this has to be at the top of my list. Just love it there !!! Would never go to Kenya without many days at Tsavo West. Stunning variety of wildlife and especially birds.

Having only been once I felt the wildlife numbers were low compared to other parks. One of the contributing factors was the density of arid scrub brush making is difficult to see wildlife. Having the ability to stay at a lodge within the park boundary was a plus.
