Day 1

Your day begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for a brief drive to Arusha National Park. After entering the gate, you start a game drive through montane forest where black-and-white colobus monkeys leap between tall trees. You continue toward the open grasslands to spot giraffes, zebras and buffaloes before enjoying a picnic lunch overlooking the Momella Lakes. In the afternoon, you explore the lakes for flamingos and then take an optional guided walk to enjoy the scenery up close before returning to Arusha or the airport by early evening.
